Eight offensive guys, including three Zach/Zacks and two for the defense. Looks like somebody, maybe Phil Savage, is looking to show his worth to a new boss and is still at work rather than sitting at his desk shuffling papers around. First response is "why bother?" but maybe a couple of these under the radar guys turn out to be exactly what a new coaching staff is looking for. Just because the previous staff had little use for them doesn't mean they shouldn't get a good look and at bargain basement prices.
Have Jordan Travis and Adrian Martinez battle it out in camp along with any other developmental Qb they sign or draft late.... Can always bring in a low cost Veteran as the bridge guy...say A.J. MCClearen Since Anthony Becht is working on the broadcast crew and is HC of ST. Louis in the UFL, have him scout out players there for camp , as well as punter and FG kickers. That's where both Lions and Dallas got theirs from......meanwhile, CUT all players with high cap numbers, and concede next year as rebuilding year. Eat up all dead money next year, to free up cap for 2026, as well as to resign our guys who we want to keep.
You wanna post who they are or a link or we’ll just toss out random names til we can guess who they are? I’m guessing it wasn’t Zac Stacy.
Either I neglected to add the link or it didn't take. Not a big deal. For those out in TGGland who are incapable... https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=jets+sign+ten+to+reserve+futures+contracts
I never thought it was worthy of a being a discussed topic so I wouldn’t search for it. You did and didn’t link it or discuss any of the players involved like a douchebag in trying to make some dumb point about how the Jets franchise should freeze in place before hiring anyone. The Jets have an interim GM. I’d hope he does stuff that a normal GM does including no cap impact moves like signing future/reserve contracts which are the equivalent to a minicamp invite.
Tell you what - just put me on ignore if I create so much turmoil in your life. Or pull on your big boy pants and suck up a little inconvenience. I'll keep my ignore list wide open - it's always a laugh seeing what gets some guys here riled up. You wouldn't know a point if you sat on it - your characterization here is about 180 degrees away from reality. Thanks for playing.
C- student work if you create a thread then ask people to research the topic you want to discuss. This isn't NASA. It total Jet irony, Kuntz interested me because he was a total madden pick. A tight end that's a 50 with 90 speed.
Interesting point about Phil Savage. I obviously don't think he should be a GM, but that does not mean he should be fired when a new GM gets in. He does have a lot of experience and could be useful. He needs a job next year, so if a new GM thinks the moves he made were solid, he might keep him in some capacity. I just hope Woody is not dumb enough to actually promote him to an actual GM.
I can only guess you didn't read or didn't understand the part where I said "Either I neglected to add the link or it didn't take." Or maybe you thought that was a big deal and had no idea how to go to the Jets own website or a search engine. Sorry about that, shit happens. I really had nothing to discuss, just saw it and thought it may be of interest to some.
