Exactly. That's what they'd be hiring him for anyway. Let him do the player introductions on the field and give each player a chest bump when they come out of the tunnel. And when he's done with that, end it with "now, let's go get a damn snack" and the place would go crazy.

I understand, I do. I still feel more confident In Rex than anyone else. He is the only guy on the list of potential HC candidates that actually managed to coach us to a significant point, despite Woody being the owner. He is capable, he's proven it.

I am secure In my stance with this. It's okay if nobody else agrees.

I felt the same when I was one of a handful of people that knew Zach Wilson wasn't going to be good before we even drafted him. Almost everyone on this board swore differently. Which is fine. I could be wrong with this but I feel better about him than anyone else on that list of HC candidates. The only exception is, Vrabel. We all know where he is going though.

Are there any other candidates with a proven track record of winning with trash at QB? Gruden I guess? Let’s make it real clear, we have total trash at QB and will for at least 2 years.

I’m sorry you’re right Dean. Nobody but you questioned the Wilson pick at the time. Hooray for you. Give yourself a cookie.

Reading comp is fun. I did say there was about a handful of people that were against it. It wasn't just me. I'd rather have cake, if that's okay, Boss?

Better yet, just cut his behind and eat up the dead cap money next year, and all the other high cap players as well.

figure next year as the rebuild year...

    A total blowhard.

He went after Rodgers because he knew that's what would create the most headlines. Nah not Nate Hackett. Nah firing the head coach after week 5 had nothing to do with the terrible season the Jets had.

It was the Rodgers country club all along detective Rex figured out this one from afar.

    OMG PLEASE NO!!

I think I just heard the country club exhale a sigh of relief.

    Near miss.

Rex is a goof ball. He was horrendous in determining and finding prospects in the draft. Rex was good at the time with us the first 2-3 years. He is past his prime. Let him coach a college team.

Ryan was coach, not general manager. His job was not to buy the groceries but to cook the meal with what the GM provided.

True but Rex had his hands all over our early picks while he was coaching. I distinctly remember Rex campaigning for at least Coples, Richardson, and Wilkerson. He also thought he could convert Coples to an OLB which was always preposterous because Coples was 290 lbs.
