I know I read all that the first time you posted that a couple weeks ago. I’m still not really sold but maybe if you post it a third time I’ll be in.

Every non-Josh Allen player on the Bills rushed for 1,470 yards in 2022. 1,699 in 2024. 16 games in 2022. 17 in 2024. Way less sacks but is that the maturity of the player or the coordinator? I’ll take my chances with that being more on Josh Allen than Brady.

Allen scored more touchdowns this year on the ground and the amount of first downs picked up in both years is about the same. Less rushing yards but nothing crazy. How was he not Superman this year?

If you want to ignore reality and instead lean on your own made up conclusions (because you don’t watch bills games and have no clue what you’re talking about) that’s on you. You’re right. Brady stinks and it’s all Allen.

Probably has interest depending on what else is out there but now that Pats have fired Mayo can see Vrabel ending up there. More than one commentator has said they think Vrabel interviewed with the Jets in part to show the Pats they need to make a move if they want him or miss out.

Interested to see how Buffalo looks in the playoffs. They benefitted from a lot of short fields, it was almost lucky how many turnovers they got. That undoubtedly helped the offense.

I wish they were playing the Chargers, a team that doesn’t turn the ball over. It will probably be more of the same with the rookie Bo Nix on Sunday, and the Bills roll into the divisional round where they usually choke

Anything can happen but I would be surprised if the Bills lose at home to the Broncos. They will face the Ravens in the divisional round if both teams take care of business on WC weekend. That is a game I could see the Bills losing but this week they probably win.

It's looking likely this is correct.

I dont think I care at this point. I guess I'd prefer Vrabel because he's won playoff games and had some winning seasons recently. I assume he's headed to New England, but he's my first choice.

I'm so apathetic about the Jets offseason. They've become such a franchise of losers, its hard to feel like any decision they make will work out. Maybe I'm just getting too old, but I dont think I'll be able to buy in until I actually see some wins.

Greeny was on the punter show and he was going on about how badly Rex Ryan wants this job.

I guess there's something to be said for that, we got guys turning us down and/or skeptical or even afraid of the challenge here. Meanwhile, Rex would do anything for it.

Idk... just trying to make myself feel better about a Rex hiring cause I'm pretty sure he's getting it

Rex was not a bad head coach.

I think the biggest issue for Rex is that's he's been out of the league for 8 years. Usually if you are out of the league for even 3 years the people in the league become unrecognizable because of the amount of turnover and changes in the staff. I truly do not know where he would go to find quality coordinators. There are likely very few connections for him at this point.

has there been an example of a coach who was out of the game for awhile, came back, and found success?

Gruden tried it and sucked, Gibbs with the Redskins was underwhelming in his second try. I guess maybe Barry Switzer with the Cowboys but he obviously inherited gold with that team. Also it was like 30 years ago now

It is probably going to be a disaster from day 1.

Yeah never said anything close to that. I’m not hiring a coordinator based on the fact that he has a top 3 QB player in the league… playing like a top 3 player in the league.

The Bills offense is good this year? Great. It’s been mostly good for the past 5 years too under three different coordinators. I can concede that maybe it’s better this year. But it’s not like it hasn’t been good.

And the engine behind the success has largely been the same (minus Stefan Diggs) with Josh Allen doing Josh Allen things.

    Anthony Lynn.
He’s coaching on a playoff team this year.
    He knows offense.
    He was a Jet.
