I've seen enough. Let's sign him and then work on our lines.

I can't see the pats letting him get away. He has made way too many huge plays for them and they have the cash to franchise him, if not pay him long term.

I would have loved him. But now since his new tattoo, "Get Paid", and his recent surge of INT for TDs, he will be one of the highest paid football players.

Is this a challenge to our fellow photoshoppers?

I don't think it's going to happen though

i really hope he comes here as a FA.....we need a CB of his calibur no doubt. adding him will go a long way to adding a few more sacks for the D line....including whoever we pick up to play NT....

NE pays NOBODY!!! they even got brady to sign for less under the guise they would retain talent...and then let branch go. they are a plug and play team. he wont be in NE. he may not be on the jets, but he def wont play for the pats....

Theres no reason to give a cornerback a lot of money. You can also draft a cornerback and coach him up. I'll be curious to see what the Pats do with him. Maybe franchise him but I don't think they'll give him a huge bonus. they seem to go through 3 or 4 corners every year and yet they're defense is still nasty.

I don't think he'll be in NE either. And I know we want to "build through the draft" but I think if we get the opportunity to solidify one very glaring hole with a player we know.... well, I think that's worth a little money. I'm certain we'll make a play for him, it's a question of whether someone else makes a better play.

you really think a CB shouldnt be a top earner on a D? drafting and coaching??? look at miller...hes been coached up for 2 years and still cant cover a wr without getting one D interference call a game...a shut down corner is a top commodity, and one that should be paid as such.

If Asante Samuel intercepts Manning any more, we won't be able to afford him.

If anyone has an idea of what his real worth is and what he can and can't do, it's mangini. If we DO sign him, I pretty much guarantee he won't be a bust.

Of course, if another team signs and asks him to do different things that he may or may be good at, then I guarantee nothing.

Huh? He makes big plays when it counts, and that's a quality teams love to have in one of their players. If we can grab him at a fair price, I'd say let's go for it.

Samuel isn't perfect, by a long shot, he does get burned deep on occassion, but he has a nose for the ball and he's a playmaker. I'd like to see him signed, although we would have to overpay.

The JETS need playmakers and if he's willing to sign on the dotted line, so be it.

Samuel's by no means a shutdown corner, but he makes plays that can turn the tide of a game. If we get him, I fully expect him to be an asset for us. If Mangini doesn't go hard after him, I'm sure he knows that Samuel was playing hard for his paycheck.

No way, this guy has instincts and has a nose for the ball. He would fit in very well here.
