Oh well. We still have Ruckert, yeah ok he dropped and possibly fumbled his only chance today, but he’s a Jets fan so it’s cool
JSN had a monster day too with 10 catches for 110. Imagine our offense with Bowers, Garrett Wilson and JSN. I’m glad we have a project offensive tackle and situational pass rusher who disappears for months at a time though.
It just boggles my mind the amount they have used TE this season and they didn't even scout him. Joe Douglas uses first round picks to fix his own mistakes. Get fired.
Probably the best tightend in the league right now. Glad to have a tackle we aren’t sure about though.
If the Jets draft a TE he will bust If the Jets draft a QB he will bust It's a lose lose situation sadly the misery never ends
Bowers has been historically good this season. He's on pace to break the single season rookie record for catches regardless of position and could set the rookie mark for receiving yards by a tight end. Another JD fireable blunder.
But we know things would not play out here as they do elsewhere. Our entire organisation is dysfunctional and our coaches would have found a way to turn Bowers into an afterthought. We used to imagine what our offense would look like with Aaron Rodgers. We used to imagine what our offense would look like with Davante Adams. Our offense would look just the same with Patrick Mahomes, Ja'Marr Chase and Saquon Barkley. We are the opposite of alchemists. We turn gold into crap.
I didn't know who Bowers was before. He's a household name now after the way he played against the Chiefs on Black Friday. I have to laugh at the Raiders and Bills who had the #1 seed within reach. They Raiders well within game winning fg attempt range only a few seconds left. They should have kicked it then? Instead they got greedy and botched a basic fundamental football play at the most important time in the game. The strange stuff that happens to bad teams like the Raiders and Jets. The Chiefs don't look very convincing these days BUT I remember people were talking about their WR last year they ended up winning it all and they're going for a threepeat. I don't see it happening the way they're playing.
Conklin was making plays for the Jets this season before Hackett got fired he was one of Rodgers favorite targets. He's been just about completely phased out of the offense since Hackett got fired. The organization is a total mess. It's as if someone decided hey we used a high draft pick on this guy (Ruckert) play him instead of Conklin. Based on absolutely nothing.
