I still think Bill O’Brien should get a look. He was a good head coach in Houston and he’s doing a good job at BC right now. He’s worked with both Belichick and Saban and helped start the revival of Penn State in the aftermath of that grotesque scandal.

Not saying he’s my top choice but he’s a good football coach.

the same reports that said saleh and Douglas had a hardon for Carr while woody had a hard on for ar and practically gave him the keys to the Kingdom to come here?

No to Rex at this point, Rex has always been a circus and that’s the last thing we need we already have Rodger’s and the woodys for that, we need a no nonsense offensive minded coach who doesn’t bring drama, we already have enough drama queens playing on this team. Why bring in another defensive minded coach when our offense sucked ass for the last 10 years

What? Since the report Saturday do you still believe Johnson has always been all in on Rodgers?

Breece Hall would get 30 carries a game if Vrabel became Jets HC.

I wouldn’t mind Vrabel at all if he became Jets HC, I always enjoyed watching Titans when he coached them, they played tough football on both sides of the ball.

If you're going retread HC, Vrabel is the only one who makes sense.

We have 2 backs to split the load right now. Perfect time for a guy like Vrabel.

Rex can be the team cheerleader. I don't want Rex as head coach, b/c he wasn't a good head coach and he wasn't a good evaluator of talent. On the other hand, I feel like he should have a role on this team b/c he is entertaining and fun!

Some of the names that the media is throwing around are just depressing. Rex Ryan, Matt Nagy, Bill O'Brien, Jon Gruden, what a depressing list of names. If this is what Woody is going to pick from, there's no point to even be tuning in the next couple of years.

I can see it now, Woody is gonna hire the whole ESPN panel. Rex head coach. Orlovsky as OC. Booger as DC. Reddick as GM. And Laura to coach the flight crew.

The hype train would be unreal

Mike Vrabel wouldn’t touch this team with a 10 foot pole. Bill Bellichek is out there every chance he can get throwing shade at Woody and the Jets and how dysfunctional and poorly run this franchise is. Vrabel is one of his guys, if he even interviewed here Bellichek would be on the phone laughing his ass off at him. Vrabel has a lot of respect and absolutely will get a 2nd chance to coach in the NFL. He won’t get a 3rd chance after coaching here.

This team has no near term future. Next year we will have purged tons of bad contracts as well as our QB. We’re low on draft picks since Douglas gave a bunch away to bring in all these awful overpriced vets, and our cap situation is dismal thanks to said overpriced vets. What we’re most likely looking at is a crop of past failure coaches like Leslie Frazier, Frank Reich, Ron Rivera…. We need someone who can be a respectable face of the franchise while we completely overhaul and rebuild.

I think at his point we know Woody either reads this site or listens to all the YouTube talking heads so you might as well start campaigning for he coach you want.

Rex knows this, and that is why he is openly campaigning.

Vrabel is a fired coach. He would take any job. Lets not psych ourselves out here, Mike Vrabel isn't Vince Lombardi, or even a guy with a long list of suitors.

He had some ups and downs in Tennessee, got fired, and is looking to coach again...if he gets offered!

He will get plenty of offers, he’ll be one of the top candidates this offseason. I will bet you a $25 donation to your charity of choice that Vrabel turns down an interview with us if we request it.
