There's plenty of serious critical reporting going on but it's buried under the steaming heap of social media often expressed in fewer characters than the title of a real report. "You are what you eat."
There's just something that's been off with this team and I suppose that goes back to ownership, coaching, and player leadership. It reared it's head in the Denver game. The Jets should have never lost that game and it was like they never recovered. Their mood was the same as the weather that day. There's no enthusiasm from the players to the coaches, no killer instinct, very few huge plays or turnovers that changed the course of the games. Obviously Davante picked up on it after his first game as a Jet. Outside of the Arizona game, they had stretches in all of the other games where they looked good and several of those games it's hard to believe they found ways to lose. At the same time though, outside of the first Patriots game, the Jets have yet to play a complete game. It's like the talent is there and in the players' heads they know they can win, but can't play complete games and then find themselves shocked they lost again when the games end. And while Rodgers has been disappointing and hasn't won them the games at the end we had hoped, let's be honest he's played well enough that they probably should be 7-4. Look at last year and the Jets managed to win 7 games with basically no QB. The defense and kicking game has been so disappointing compared to last year. The injuries to Jermaine Johnson, Lazard & the issues with Zuerlein have been the killers.
They had no business bringing this GM HC OC STC and DC back after 3 straight double digit loss seasons. They had the Rodgers excuse in their back pocket I guess. This season exposed them all as the frauds they are. I said that we would be right back in the toilet next year before the Washington game last December when he (Woody the football genius) announced they would be bringing the entire CS back and behold, here we are. I knew it. As did many of you I would imagine, it doesn't take a Harvard Degree to see it.
Simple: Aaron Rodgers. He’s a shell of himself. He has completely let me down. The defense has been brutal too. Picking one thing is tough because everyone has contributed, but definitely Rodgers. And I was his biggest fan and supporter.
Yeah, no doubt about it. I really just thought if you combined our 2022 defense with 4 time NFL MVP Rodgers you’d get a Super Bowl team. And maybe that was true, but Rodgers hasn’t been the same and the defense hasn’t either. That’s the reality.
Rodgers let us all down. Looking back the warning signs were there. He sucked his last year in Green Bay but they told us it was a fluke injury or something
Ownership have no football understanding. When has this team been capable of identifying and developing quarterback Bringing in Rodgers No o-line worth a damn in years A head coach who never had play sheet in his hands ' not getting a HC with an understanding of offense
Yeah, I thought it was his broken thumb. Assumed it was healed headed to New York. Then he tore his Achilles. That’s life. I don’t think he has fully recovered from that and it looks like he may never.

Greg Zuerlein missing kicks in 3 games where if he makes those kicks the Jets likely win each game. Big difference between 6-5 and 3-8. Season over as a result. Shame
And if Joe Douglas had actually been doing his job in the preseason and kept the kicker that everyone said was head and shoulders above Zuerlein, we might still be in this thing. Two years in a row his inaction in the preseason and early parts of the regular season has cost a chance to be competitive.
Lmao a collapse can never be just one thing unless it’s an earthquake beneath a building I blame the big 3 : Rogers blowing it ; terrible OC and HC; lots of in juries on D with a porous DL
After ownership (because Johnson meddling has never worked), it's coaching. Every game, it seems like we have some new unit to blame for making dumb mistakes. That's coaching. Penalties, inconsistent play. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk
Look no further the JD and RS. Both posted losing seasons and built a medicore attitude toward winning. No accountability by with of them for any bad play, bad coaching or poor decisons. I say good effin riddance. Woody owns some of this too but not as much as these two who sold him a bill of goods and banked his $$$$ and build a losing culture.
It's the coaching. Which can be blamed on the coaches themselves, Woody Johnson, Joe Douglas, and Aaron Rodgers. If we had proper coaching this team probably has 7 wins.
I blame all Jet failures on Woody. God! How I hate even typing his name! Fans will have to stay away in droves to get a response from this spoiled baby. I will never go to another game or buy merchandise ever again! Enough! I hate you Woody! You have held us hostage for years. You are an incompetent boob! Fuck Off and sell the Team!
