The drafting of O'Brien caused a rift between Richard Todd, the offense, and Joe Walton. I could understand drafting Dan Marino given the upside. Coming off 2 great years with Walton as OC for Todd, I never understood the need to grab a QB.
Yes indeed! The book is officially published today BUT I won't post a link here just yet. I have ordered a copy which will arrive tomorrow - that will give me a chance to give it one last look over before I post a link here. I would hate for people to buy it and then find that something has gone wrong between the last proofing stage and printing, and you never really know exactly how it will look until you get a final print copy in your hand. So all being well, it should be available to buy tomorrow! Thanks to everyone for showing interest!
Okay, I got my final print copy today and it looks good! Strangely, there are a couple of pictures that looked better in the proof copy than they do on the final version, but I think that is just a result of variations in the print-on-demand process and is not a major issue. So I am putting up links! This is the link for US customers: O'Brien: A Life Under Center And this is for UK customers: O'Brien: A Life Under Center It should be available on other Amazon sites very soon if not already. Thanks to anyone and everyone who buys a copy. This was a labour of love and hopefully it will bring some pleasure at a time when we badly need some. I'm going for a lie down now... PS - I will be doing an ebook version but it will take a little time, so if you want to wait for that I'll keep you posted here.
Son #2 has claimed it for his present to me, so if you sold two copies one is for me and one for Brook
Hey my friend. Some friends in UK are happy about the book and are asking if you can sign the book for them. Can you PM me your email address or phone or both so they reach out?
Looks great! I haven't opened a book since I started writing my own stuff a couple of years ago, this gives me a great reason.
