We're not trading for him for at least 14 years. And it'll be just in time for him to help tank the next team we have that shows a glimmer of promise.
amazing how the Jets put all this offensive talent around this 41 year old quarterback pass his prime and they are still 26th in the league in points per game, this team is a joke and has no clue what they are doing.
He did throw that unbelievable pass to Ed Reed against the Ravens when we were curb stomping them with no reason to attempt a HB Pass back in the day.
They know exactly what they're doing. They're making money hand over fist with only the most minimal of effort. It's all by design. The only thing the Jets put any effort into this season was changing the uniforms (and that was going back to an old look) and marketing this "great" roster that we have.
Last season I go to a game until they prove me otherwise, woody thanks me for my donation last fuckn time.
I hope the team starts to see fewer and fewer people show up until it looks like a weekday early afternoon Oakland A's baseball game. I also hope that the Jets figure out soon that they are about ready to break this fanbase beyond repair. They are very much on the verge of it and they won't be able to come back from that even if the team finds some shred of respectability at any point in the future.
fwiwi i been listening to somne sirius radio sports channels.. and they were going on and on today about the bears and there lack of ability to find a QB.... and look at how ff-ed the Raiders are!! uhhg!!
I'm starting to change my mind about Rodgers. I'm starting to feel he's one of the big problems and a big part of the energy issue on this team. The defense was terrible Sunday, but the offense was also completely ineffective. He's not the worst QB in the league - more of average to slightly below, but for how specific he is for players he wants, preferences on plays, and coaches he's not close to good enough. I'd prefer to see Tyrod play over him and am preferring the latter or another veteran QB for next year now. Not sure what type of mentor he'd be for a rookie anyway.
They struggle to get a single first down, it's so bad. Every single play is like scrapping for yards, so they can barely make the 1st on 3rd down. It shouldn't be like pulling teeth to get a first down. The offense has enough talent where they should be moving the ball at will, even if Rodgers isn't playing up to snuff.
