Small outside CBs who are about to get their 3rd contract are not good investments and age horribly. I'm good on a Reed extension. Sucks because he's been awesome, but I'm good on keeping him.

To my credit, you could replace Zuerlein with every other player I listed and laugh just as deliriously
If they admit the season is over, I think they're afraid of triggering Woody's housecleaning. At the rate they're going, this will happen anyway. Might explain why this team is playing and being coached like they just DGAF anymore.
I'd imagine Rodgers would throw a giant bitch baby fit, but at this point, I'd be happy to sell anything of value and get picks. Maybe it'll be enticing to some potential GM/HC combo. Ahhh.......who am I kidding?
Woody needs to either give Douglas security for next year (a dumb idea) or fire him now and put an interim GM in charge of the fire sale. Get something now for Sauce, Wilson, Hall, and whoever else while there's still some value to be had. But, in typical Jets fashion, we're going to hamstring the next rebuild by giving these overrated players massive contracts because they're the only "decent" draft picks that Douglas has made in his six years since he's been here.
