I feel like im getting close to my limit. Maybe its because the Yankees are about to lose the World Series so the combination of that and the Jets disaster is really weighing on me. Ive been a Jets fan for around 35 years and its been almost nothing but misery. They constantly ruin my day and provide very little joy. If we ever win the superbowl it will not be worth it. I know I wont stop being a fan, but i wish that I could. I just dont think I have it in me to quit them.

to be done by Halloween again is so f'n frustrating....however, I'll tone down my enthusiasm, but, I can't stop rooting for them.

Given that I've lived in DC for most of the last several years, I'm at the precipice of switching to the Commanders.

Meh. The entertainment in following the Jets at this point is seeing just how pathetically hapless they can be. And I’m not even remotely convinced we’ve seen this team at its best in that regard.

Moving the team like is the only way to end it, I can stop worrying about them now after today this season

might be a good idea. They got rid of their owner which we cant do and they are playing well. I live in AZ so switching to the cardinals is almost the same so i might as well stay with the Jets lol.

I’m here. I’m super into the Jets until about Halloween. Then I watch the games on a secondary screen or via an app if something’s going on once they’re inevitably 2-6 at this point and become way less emotionally invested.

I wish we never got Rodgers. At least with Zach or whoever else I wouldnt have had any expectations for this year. I think its the false hope the media gave me thinking that we might be very good is what is the most painful.

Being a Jet fan is not a commitment... it's a sentence... as in no chance of parole.

I’ll always be, been since the early-mid 80s. I could never start over . But I’ll stop watching like I did during gase. I haven’t watched a Sunday night/monday game since week 2 , as the jets have turned me off to football all together this year

Being a native long islander…and my dad being a fan(very disconnected at this point in his life), I kind of feel like it’s just ingrained.

I was close when they screwed over the post 2022 rebuild effort by bringing in Rodgers/Hackett. Which i've maintained since the start was a total FU to us diehard fans that nobody was seeing because they were getting too drunk on the hype train koolaid.

Jacksonville is less then an hour drive from here, I've always liked Doug P as a coach, and it wouldn't of felt like bandwagon jumping to me since they really haven't done much. I'd be following the QB I once thought we'd be following here. Decent season tickets when i looked into it could be had for less then $1000, and actually being able to go to home games would of been an obvious big plus.

I really did think about it for a couple days, but in the end I'm old and stubborn i guess.

I wish they would sell the team and move it somewhere else then I feel I could freely drop them - nearly 40 years and it has been pretty much constant disappointment throughout that time - more and more I find myself watching Redzone rather than the Jets games as there is just so little fun in it.

Pretty much the only entertainment I get is from seeing how utterly hapless the team can be and what new embarrassments they can cook up - the same sort of enjoyment you get from watching compilations of "fails" on youtube.

I have been on the brink of trying to support another team a number of times but I just know as soon as I managed to do so the Jets would suddenly become good as their bad luck (from a sporting perspective) has rubbed off on me at this point. Still I have the Lions as a "second" team (as in baseball terms I follow the Detroit Tigers as much as I follow any team) and so I will probably look to get more into them as the season goes on.

Over the past few seasons I've become a die hard soccer fan which has helped me navigate. The champions league is AMAZING. I don't have a rooting interest so I just enjoy the games.

Too bad I stopped gambling this team could make you lots of money if you always bet against them. It's a win win.

I do think this has been the single worst year of my fandom to date - I never wanted them to draft ZW, I didn't want them to bring in Rodgers - if these moves seem so obviously bad to me who knows almost nothing then I just throw my hands up in the air. That said as much as I didn't want Rodgers I had to believe that we would be better this year than last when ZW was the worst starting QB in the NFL but somehow we are actually much worse this year - it is quite staggering and I guess sort of impressive in its own way.

I'll always be a fan. But not give them money.

When I give up on the NFL brand is when I stop following the Jets.
