I really need to get to this point. Maybe it'll make football enjoyable again. MAYBE I need to find a Canadian team to follow!!!
Honestly I got to that point as well. I used to get so angry my Sundays would be ruined. Football shouldn’t have a bearing on your attitude or emotional state in life anywhere beyond the game itself. As I’ve gotten older I started to question whether watching football was good for me at all, at least Jets football. What I did was turn the narrative around. Instead of letting the Jets get me angry and having that affect other parts of my life, I take out any anger I accrue from real life and take it out on the Jets. So now the Jets have become my positive means to release my negative emotions. Woody’s awful product and constant embarrassment over the last quarter century has taken away just about any love I had for this franchise and earned all the vitriol and anger I can spit their way. It’s a shame because I used to be a STH and used to schedule my life around the Jets. Now it just doesn’t mean that much to me.
With this offense and Aaron Rodgers, we need an offensive minded head coach, somebody that has the pulse of the offense. Saleh clearly did not have this and never intervened in play calling when the offense looked like doodoo. Now I'm not completely blaming him, I don't think he was as bad a coach as people are suggesting, he just isn't an offensive mind.
