40 year old QB returning from an achilles tear gets battered behind a shitty O-line..... shocking he's not playing like its 2014

I think I'll try some ayuwasca and wander in the woods to forget this season ever happenned...

His body language is horrible. He must be toxic in the locker room , At 40 you would think he would be working the sideline during the game , coaching up , encouraging his teammates. He sits on the bench like he is king and no of the peasants should come near him

    I can't believe he
Cowards way out, it leaves him free of responsibility. I can see him doing this.
I can't believe we wasted two draft picks on Rodgers.
He isn't going to play hard enough for us to win.
We could have had Carr and the draft picks.
But our owner is an idiot and bamboozeled by star power.
Our GM played a strong hand weakly, Green Bay played a poor hand superbly.
We are fucked for the near future.

I fell for the deal tbh..put up with the Zach disaster waiting for the healthy Rogers and instead he bums around Egypt misses mini camp with zero effort to work with G Wilson , receivers. Now It dawned on me how Green Bay got tired of his attitude with the hand off to us Jets lol . So they can bust it up with J Love going forward!!
Does anyone in management ever wonder why players like AR and H Reddick are let go?? >>Talented shits with egos and bad attitudes

. and now the awful reality ..fans scammed by our dummy front office who are overpaid to supposedly know more than all of us together!

We should have signed someone like Flacco or Taylor last season.. non toxic stop gap guys that would have allowed the young core to grow as the focal point of the team.
Rodgers brought so much baggage here. Wilson and sauce are regressing, Hall looks like he's counting the days until he can leave

If you got 12 - 15 games out of Carr you'd be better off than getting 17 from Rodgers (which you won't). And then there's the cost involved in so many ways.

Of course LaFleur wasn't the only issue, but what has he done for the Rams lately? Where has La Fleur excelled, other than having the right brother?

The Rams have had good offenses with LaFleur.

Beyond that though, he was the most creative play caller and play designer that I can remember the Jets having. The sheer variety of different plays was night and day compared to Hackett or really any other recent OC we've had. We were unpredictable and he did a good job of scheming guys open. I wouldn't frame it as "LaFleur wasn't the only issue" because I don't think he was an issue at all when he was here.

I said this at the time, but what we really should have done 2 years after hiring Saleh/LaFleur is fired Saleh and made LaFleur the head coach.

This is also the core problem with people lazily trying to directly copy and paste NFL player production happening elsewhere on to our team. This isn't baseball. It almost never works like that.

As i posted in another thread in the big picture of player projections everybody loves to ignore there is ultimately 32 different versions of every player depending on the team/situation he ends up. The idea the NYJ would of got anything but one of the bottom and worst potential outcomes out of Derek Carr is just an extreme reach in itself that completely ignores surrounding history reality.

Almost zero chance imo we weren't getting a version of Carr that ended up looking a lot more like 2023 Jimmy G in Vegas. Just like we are seeing now with Rodgers. Who wasn't staying in GB, going to a better success setup like SF where he'd surely be looking a lot better right now, or ending up in anything but one of the worse possible 32 variable outcomes on the table with the Jets being one of the worst coached offenses in the NFL.

We *do* have an idea though. Because we keep seeing the proof it generally won't happen time and time again.

Focusing in solely on player talent and past outside production #'s as an alternative fix means to the fact you are an absolutely terribly run and coached team wasn't some brand new NFL success recipe the Jets cooked up this winter. It's a failure dish that's been around forever.

What are you even talking about?

Production is a result of talent. Neither is an "alternative fix."

yes the Jets should try to get good coaches and talented players both. Shocking idea I know

observation: check out NimRods follow thru motion on his key INTs.

He looks like he's posing. Like he's some weird performance artist imitating an NFL QB. It's over elaborate and looks like he's mostly arm throwing.
He srta falls away to his left and back... ???

    v Bills

    v Vikes

    v Steelers
