I actually said this to my brother earlier.... granted it's hindsight, but still not a good decision.

Yankees took care of business last night. Time for the Mets to do the same. As a casual fan of New York, I want to see an all New York World Series. Make it happen Mets!

Tonights game is so fucking massive for us. A win tonight all the pressure in the world shifts to the Dodgers in game 4 and 5. Having to win 2/2 in Citi Field is not going to be easy for the Dodgers. Get to 3-2 and then take 1 in LA is the recipe. NEED TO WIN TONIGHT.

Splitting in LA is HUGE!! I didn't realize MLB still did the the 2-3-2 format instead of 2-2-1-1-1. Pressure is already on the Dodgers here, 3 games in a row at Citi field! Gotta win 2 of 3 at home at least here!!

My mom has had a lil "playoff pumpkin" at their house (with a METS hat) the whole time.... Hopefully I'll need some Grimaces for Halloween decorations at mine. LOL.

Of course, the Jets didn't cooperate.

Yeah, the Devils won too - only the Jets failed, which was certainly more important than any of the three hockey wins.

Alvarez is up with bases loaded 1 out. At some point he has to do something.

Well, that was different - instead of fishing for a curve ball a foot outside, he watches a fastball down the middle for the third strike.

Is it time to sit Alvarez and give Torrens a start?

It's way past time. I really don't understand why he keeps sending him out there, since he's a liability both at the plate and behind it.

I can only think they don’t want to disrupt the pitchers?

Mets need to change the hitting lineup.

If they lose game 4 this series is over so backs against the wall tommorrow.
