Yeah there was a lot to blame for that performance. The kicker lost another one. Rodgers 3 weeks in a row with the ball in his hands and a chance to win, he blows it…. Penalties.. yada yada but how in the hell does Breece Hall not score on that run? Untouched, he has the entire field to shake ONE guy and he slides out of bounds like total wuss. I am so disappointed with Hall. I used to love him. That was terrible. He’s half the player he used to be
a little half assed move, stick close to the sideline so he can avoid contact. Oops he got pushed out of bounds. Gutless play
Time to trade breece, no way we pay this guy elite rb money, and we got Braylon, if we can get a 2nd for breece at the trade deadline good riddance.
I noticed in the first few games that he wasn't even bothering to extend the ball when he was near the first down marker, I had thought it might just be a fluke but it happened a few times.
Agreed, that was extremely weak. Should have cut back inside and taken his chances. OR, lower your damn shoulder and run the guy over. It's almost like he is playing not to get hurt.
Breece has absolutely been low-effort and soft this year. The only thing I can think of is that he's pissy about us drafting Allen and Davis and is making business decisions as a result. There's just no physicality from him this year. Then again, even that doesn't really make sense considering he's under contract next year too and needs to play well if he hopes on getting a big deal from any team. Baffling.
I hope its not that. I think he started thinking about big money and how he needs to avoid contact and extend his career. Which is funny because he's costing himself money by running like such a pussy. Previously I thought he was out of shape but now after that gutless run, its clear its not a physical thing.
Football is a rough sport. A lot of guys (Rodgers comes to mind) play when they are dinged up a bit. I am surprised that he didn't get past the defender at the four yard line but the Bills defenders get paid too and sometimes they are going to do something right.
Even average backs score on that play. He had a wide open field and one guy to beat. He just had to be faster than the last guy for Buffalo.
