Does Vinny T make you root for Pats?

YET, VINNY brought us closer to the SB then the GOLDEN BOY named CHAD! Has CHAD even had as good of a season as VINNY did in 1998? Not even close yet you say VT is overrated! What about CHAD? Vinny at least won a DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP for us. Has CHAD?

Well I was rooting for the Pats because my hate for the Manning family far extends past my hatred for the Pats. The fact that Vinny has a shot at a ring, why do I want to see him not get a ring. I've met him, and talked to him and he is a guy that loves football. He has tremendous passion for the game and if anything I'd like to see him get a ring for his dad.

Yeah, I'm going to have to say HELL NO. No way will I ever root for the Patriots, for what ever reason.

Vinny is on the Patriots, there for I will not be rooting for him. It may seem selfish on the part of being a Jets fan, but he is on the rival team, and I have a hatred for the Patriots, so in no way can I root for them. Put it this way, if you root for Vinny, you are rooting for the Patriots to win.

Are you kidding me? He started the first 4 games and went 1-3. And Chad played in most of that JAX loss. If Herm didn't go with Chad, that season would have been tanked.

And you must forget that Vinny also wasn't the starter at the beginning of the 98 season. Glenn Foley made the first two starts.

 

Manning not wanting to play for us is untrue. Archie just wanted assurances from Bill Parcells that Manning would go number 1 overall which Bill didnt give him. Bill made his intentions on trading the pick pretty well known.

There isn't a concievable scenario in which I would root for the Patriots. They already have the refs and luck on their side...why do they even need fans?
