Mendoza's gamble of starting Mannea in game 2 instead of 1 pays off. Series is tied up. IMO if Mets win 2 of 3 at Citi Field they will win this. If they win 1, they will have Mannea for game 6. Let's hope for a sweep though!
In reality it didn't matter who pitched because we didn't score. I think Mendoza expected that so that's why he didn't pitch Mannea there, rather Senga. Not saying they played to lose but they played to put themselves in best position to come back home 1-1. The Mets now are in a great position to win this series.
