This is the window to win the world series. You never know what happens after. Felt very confident after 2006 and 2015 that the Mets would still contend and they never did again. Look at the Phillies, slow decline since losing the World Series which they got to. This is it for the Mets. 8 wins left to finally deliver a title for anyone who was born after 1986 that never has seen one.
I got the METS as a kid... and Isles (a bit younger).... hopefully you guys get you first championship (it's been awhile, I'd like another)
That was awesome! Lindor basically with the series winning grand slam. So sick! I'm glad the Dodgers tied the series last night. That means they will likely exhaust all their top pitching options tomorrow. I just hope that game stays close! I honestly don't really care which one the Mets play, they are both good.
If the Padres win, I think you get Darvish G3 at Citi Field and then either G6 on 3 days rest or G7 on 4 day rest. Most likely King G1, Cease G2 for the Padres. Not sure about the LAD
I'm glad we have the Dodgers. Padres were so hot. All the pressure is on the Dodgers to win this series. Go Mets!
