This is why I think he's leaning Saints. Unless he just wants to demand another trade next season. I look at Rodgers on the sideline and he looks done.
We been over this before but it's worth repeating again here. The Matt LaFleur run offense, featuring Hackett getting his coffee, isn't even remotely the same thing as what we've seen in the last 3 years of Hackett without somebody there to hold his hand. We literally are talking about 2 completely different surrounding situations, and playing out on 2 polar opposite sides of the spectrum there. I believe Adams would initially be fine with it if it gets him out of Vegas, but no way he's viewing that type of projected outcome as part of the consideration package. Adams isn't some team fanboy who really really is wanting to believe here. He knows what's realistically what as far as this not being high output offense. Everybody is going to end up unhappy here though whether it gets openly stated or not
THIS! Hackett as OC driving that success in GB is total bullshit…that was ALL about LeFleur and Rodgers. It’s NO different than the fantasy that Peyton’s success was somehow coming from Gase as his OC. It was completely the opposite. Hackett rode Rodgers’ coattails to the Denver HC gig and was instantly exposed as a terrible coach and a fraud, exactly like Gase was when he didn’t have Manning to make him look good. Of course, our idiot owners Woody and Chris can’t see jack shit and rushed to hire Gase and rushed to hire Hackett (though I get the Hackett hire was done in order to help convince Rodgers to come here). But I agree with this 100%…Hackett did not make Rodgers…it was the other way around.
This deal needs to get done. As the guy on NFL network said after the game sunday: this offense appears to run through Allen Lazard. Why is that? because hes the only one who is on the same page with Rodgers. And Lazard sucks. They gotta do something about that

He wants to play with Rodgers…he’s said as much. He also wanted to play with Carr, but that’s actually a good point…not sure how serious Carr’s injury is but that may actually have an impact on Adams’ decision…I get that its not technically Adams’ call and the Raiders can trade him to whomever they want, but realistically, he’ll have a say

I agree, I can’t believe the Jets are just going to let this opportunity pass by. Joe Douglas worst record I’ve ever seen and he’s about to go 2-4 in a contract year. But no worries, he likes Allen Lazard I guess Philly or Baltimore next year as a low level scout?
Our owner just stated that we have the most talented roster in the history of the franchise. JD is going to be getting a 6 year extension here this offseason.
