It’s not even so much that he sucks and drops the football, it’s the fact that they feature him like he’s good that’s infuriating
I just love when they put 3 receivers to the right and throw Garrett Wilson on the opposite side by himself against double coverage. I really don’t get why they’re allergic to letting him operate out of the slot. But they want a glorified backup tightend in Lazard there.
Man if you told me at the beginning of the season Lazard would be leading the league in drops 5 games in I’d be shocked I tell ya. Just totally shocked /sarcasm
Lazard fucking sucks. He was carried by Rodgers. He drops more passes than he catches. I can't believe how many hit him right in the hands or chest yet he still drops it. I could see it last year with Zach because his passes were always off, but Rodgers hits him near perfectly and it doesn't matter. Here's what needs to happen: Trade for Devante and then trade / dump Lazard. Garrett Wilson, Adams & Mike Williams should be the top 3. Lazard is a glorified #3 at best. I'd rather see Corley taking those reps, to be honest.
Lazard is no Garrett Wilson but then again he isn't Mike Williams either. He is a good blocker and has chemistry with Rodgers. The Jets really should buy him his own Juggs machine so he can practice in his back yard. The drops are tough to watch.
