Calls for both Saleh and Hackett to be fired today. Said he would accept a Saleh demotion to DC. Said he wants Frank Reich to be the offensive coordinator. Says this is now a crisis for the Jets.
It should happen but it won't because we've got this asinine "don't fire coaches during the year" rule. This franchise is a study in frustration. They can't do anything right and they can't cut bait early because of an arbitrary rule they've imposed upon themselves for no reason in particular.
We should add Joe Douglas to the list as well. Honestly. time to clean the house. It is clear we are not going anywhere. Just let these clowns go and start your search early.

Right because there’s time to install a whole new offense. Any changes will come internally. If they had better choices internally and didn’t change sooner then EVERYONE needs to go
You can’t change an offense or defensive philosophy mid season. It’s just not feasible. What we need is a shake up and a statement of accountability. All of our “stars” are underperforming and in the case of most they are not minding the details of the position. Firing Saleh now sends a shockwave through the team and a chance to maybe have a better organized, more detailed human at the helm of the ship. They need to fire Sapeh, promote Middleton or Ulbrich, and charge them with their first responsibility of demoting Hackett and handing playcapling to Csrter or Dowling, most likely Dowling.
For some reason, we look exactly the same as we did last year. The D keeps us alive, offense kills us. There’s one common factor here.

Lets face it if the Jets had competent coaches this year we are probally 4-3 or 3-2 at worst. People who say that AR can overcome the incompetent coaching staff are idiots. Why would they even put him in that position?
What the hell will firing JD will do at this juncture unless we have someone better we can go to? The Achilles heal is the CS no matter what freaking players we bring in.
