I loved the way he played the game, I saw the '70 all star game when hit ran over Ray Fosse, watched Bud Harrelson stand up to him on a hard slide into 2nd etc. Every sports site has an article on him except MLB... no mention at all... FUCK MLB and Manfred.
He remains on the "Permanently Ineligible" list, along with many other deceased people, so his lifetime ban extends into the afterlife. On the other hand, all the BBWAA has to do is rescind their policy (which didn't exist before 1991) that banned players are not eligible for the Hall; if they do that Rose and (one would think) Shoeless Joe Jackson would be inducted through the veterans process.
