That wasn't even a shot on Rodgers lol. It was more on the "win now" expectations people created around him going into this season (and last), and people's need to tear Buffalo's success down which just comes off shallow here imo. I'm just that high on Josh and Buffalo. Josh is too good to not eventually win one. This could be the year. On an average game basis? Yeah, I'm most certainly not expecting that out of him this year. I was pretty crystal clear with my prediction that this was going to be a run heavy Breece Hall focused offense.
Anybody who spent any second of this offseason refusing to acknowledge that Buffalo was the actual favorite to win this division coming in to the season was being delusional imo, correct (Vegas I at least get because it was easy early sucker money). For the last 5 years and for the time being they are the divisional big dogs and we are simply not on that level. I actually like and enjoy the cooky side to Rodgers' personality. Wouldn't change that about him either. Even if i don't always agree with him
As noted above, I think anybody that jumped/jumps on the Jets side of that blatant suckers bet and purely hype driven betting line probably shouldn't be gambling in the first place. Putting Miami behind us (before Tua got hurt) was also a massive stretch and at the time was probably the best value odds on the board.
If you don't care why post that to me in the first place? Speaking of which feel free to bump that updated page again in a month and after the 3 game stretch we have following this upcoming gimmie game vs Denver. We can compare what kind of odds somebody could have gotten then compared to now had you waited. They are going to longer odds for the Jets then they are today btw. We can also make a public record wager between the 2 of us on that here and now if you really want me to disprove that latter
Trevor Lawrence "generational" never bought it. hated Jet fans rooting for us to lose. losers. we'd be nowhere again with him.
Looks like they sure could've used Quincy Williams last night And they may want to reconsider the "TrevorBank Field" name... If they keep losing JETS-Jags ticket prices gonna tank.... being a slacker may pay off after all
Commanders 38 - Bengals 33. Wow, either Cincinnati has the worst defense in the league or Jaylen Daniels is unstoppable. Only missed on 2 passes the entire game.
Jaguars to. The AFC landscape is already pretty well setup for the Jets to at least make the playoffs at a minimum.
Good point but the Jets need to remain alert and not drink their own bath water. I think the landscape will change a bit after teams like the Bengals, the Ravens and to a lesser extent the Jags and the Texans come alive and the Steelers and the Bills come down to earth over the next three weeks. The Jets need to win all winnable games convincingly and forget the BS noise from the experts. On any given Sunday most all teams not fully supported by the NFL and ref community ( read KC) can be dangerous. At this moment I put the Steelers and Bills as overly hyped teams. Might be dead wrong.
Aaron R on Pat Macafee show sounds totally cerebral, commanding presence, knows his stuff guy Guess I should be calling him the Jeopardy host and not the cave man lol What is ayahuasca ? Dangerous drug? Any body know?
