2024 - Week 3: New York Jets vs New England Patriots (TNF)

Let's not forget the ongoing problem of getting offensive play calls in. Inexcusable.

 

What a satisfying game to watch. Just gutted we didn't get two more TD'S. we deserved it and so did the Patriots for always running up the score on us.

We waited longer. That was extremely satisfying. A non competitive beating of the Patriots.

 

Yes, that too. Wasted 3 timeouts last week + delay of game penalty, 2 timeouts tonight.

I was just asking myself why is it so weird seeing Jets guys joining the post game crew for an interview... then it hit me. Because they always get clobbered in prime time.

Didn't like what I saw of the Jets D first two games.

Hey, I had to take the foot out of my mouth too. I didn't pick either one so. We fall on the sword, admit our mistake for this week, and move on...

 

Giving the coaching staff props for having the team ready after a short week.

We looked good on both sides of the ball from the start till the end.

Most complete performance I can remember in quite some time, and the best quarterback play we've seen in a generation.

My darksider persona is taking the week off. I'm going to enjoy it, and then next week I'll get back to waiting for the guillotine to drop.

 

What a performance rarely seen by this franchise. The offense was extending drives, the defense is starting to find its rhythm, Greg the Leg is forgiven for his annual mistake, and we held these ass faces to 3 points at home. The biggest W would be to hear the Moses is ok and ready a week or two from now. Thanks TGG from a long time lurker, love you all

I watched the exchange several times. The only thing “awkward” is social media lol.

 

I figured the Jets were going to roll once I read the Pats OL was in shambles….but still nice to actually sit back and enjoy it.

 

It took us 11 games to get 9 offensive touchdowns last year.

We've already equaled that number in 11 days...
