Keep telling ya to wait till something actually happens. Every year, It's the same shit. Then we walk away with egg on our face. It's a disgusting cycle with this team.
If the offense continues to be dink and dunk and the defense can't stop the run against any team... I don't think the Jets win the AFC East.
Guys. Will you allow me to lock this thread? Jets aren't winning the division with "All Fart, Not So Smart" Saleh really.
No way! You started it and we need to keep it in front of everyone so the credibility of all the comments can be scrutinized for years.
The division is completely out of the question at this point, barring some significant injuries to the other teams. Given that they had their hands full with a bottom tier team like the Titans, it’s pretty clear the playoff drought is going to extend another season as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Even if they are better it doesnt mean they will win the division. There schedule is significantly harder than the Jets. They have games against the Chiefs, Ravens, and Lions while the jets do not. (Of course they also have the NFC West teams like the 49ers and Rams but the Jets do to.) Its also possible the Ravens and Lions end up being bust teams and those games end up being easy but id say today the Bills have 3 significantly harder games than the Jets which will make a difference. Typically I wouldnt put to much stock into the schedule difference but I think it is quite significant between the two teams.
They did, but I don’t think it’s the season ending IR…I think it’s the one where he can come back after a certain amount of games (not sure how many), so while he may be done for the season, that’s not certain yet. For his sake, he should probably retire before he does irreversible damage, but I also understand he has a huge contract, and as a player, I’m sure he’ll want to play and not walk away from all that money.
With Tua going IR I can't see the Dolphins staying in the race with Skylar Thompson. It's looking like the Bills and Jets will battle it out for the division. The Bills may be better, but they also have the tougher schedule. The two games between the teams will be huge to say the least.
The odd thing is...man for man, I don't think the Bills ARE better. I honestly believe the Jets have the edge. HOWEVER, where the Bills absolutely flatten the Jets is on the sidelines and we're about to find out that coaching matters. A LOT!
The Bills staff ain't that good. McDermott is kind of a choker and his coordinators are both new Their biggest advantage over us is at the most important position on the field, QB. Huge gap between Allen and Rodgers. Allen plays at an MVP level. As in, single best player at any position, and were just excited to see Rodgers play middle of the pack for his position. to draw upon the recent past its like they have Steve Young and we have Steve Deberg
Agreed, Jets have more talent top to bottom but the Bills are better coached, especially at OC. Allen is also a one man offense which negates the talent difference elsewhere on the offenses.
