Well, I'm all into hominids, and this floated my boat. Probably 60% wrong, but f that, no way. 'Unknown Cave of Bones'. I'm a spelunker in my way and I've taken crazy risks hiking in my time but get outta here a million times sideways. That shaft, it reminded me of coming out of my coma.
Not a huge basketball fan and the film is already 3 years old, but 'Untold: Malice at the Palace'. I remember when that whole thing happened, but seeing the actual riot/pandemonium and not just some news clip was wild, shocking, and terrifying. It really is worth the watch.
'The Deliverance'. The first minute was OK until it dived into awful child abuse and complete stupidity. Things get alluded to, never to be mentioned again, and it was only one step up from the original 'The Amityville Horror', black flies and all, which, incidentally, was also a complete fraud. 'Based on a true story', and the 'true story' is nonsense. I could tear this movie apart in detail, but I won't waste anyone's time. Watch at your own risk, it is that ridiculous.
After watching that when it came out I recently by chance clicked on Dark Woods, a German series on Amazon. It reminded me of something I had seen and then realized it was a dramatization of the Birgit Maier case made before the NF doc, in 2020. I actually did like it. Not bad at all. I enjoyed Ripley on NF. Maybe a little slow here and there but I'd go for s2
The wife wants to watch the “Aaron Hernandez Story”, we are about 20mins in and I already am about an 8 in pissed off-ness. They make him out to be the victim again, same old shit
Well, people don't get that fucked up in a vacuum, there's usually some legit victimization at some point. I didn't even watch it so I'm just assuming what you're talking about anyway.
I heard it was good but I end up passing on these things because how many times can the same story be rehashed? They beat these things to death sometimes with documentaries and then the drama show ends up being whack.
A big issue of mine with Netflix that I don't pay for is the absolute garbage that is on there lately. Tyler Henry? Seriously? He's a debunked fraud, and they're completely unapologetic. I've been laughing my ass off through the Menendez thing, it's terrible. I would kill myself before paying for this.
the real victim is Tim Tebow. The actor they used to play him looks like such a pussy. — (just found out it’s Arnold Schwarzenegger’s kid, on top of getting Maria Shrivers genes, he’s 31 year old trying to play college Tebow)
it got a little better after the first 20 mins when I almost gave up on it. Man that Florida team under Urban Meyer was a circus
Train Wreck: Woodstock '99. I don't think I've ever seen anything so gross . . . although Woodstock 1994 was also vile. I saw the aftermath, it was really disgusting.
That that was criminal from top to bottom. And if I ever get a chance to meet Fred Durst, he is going down the nearest flight of stairs on his head.
So they were doing WWE Raw (I think) and now they're doing an expose? I guess they can't make up their minds . . . ?
