42 on that bills defense was playing middle linebacker. Huge weakness that other teams will exploit after today
Cowboys stupidly don't take a time out at the end of the half and blow a seemingly successful 66-yard field goal attempt with a delay of game penalty. Cowboys still up 17, and Watson looks absolutely awful (couldn't happen to a nicer guy).
Interesting decision for the Raiders to punt from the Chargers 43 on 4th-and-1 with 7:15 left in the fourth quarter, down by 6 points. And by "interesting" I mean very strange.
And the Chargers march down the field, scoring a TD after Las Vegas burns all three of their timeouts. 22-10 with 3:40 left.
Dallas probably the most impressive team today. Did not expect them to beat down the Browns like this. I'm sure the NFL thought this game would be competitive and compelling hence the timeslot but Dallas really showed up.
Watson continues to make his contract the worst one in NFL history. If you get QB play like that, you're going nowhere.
Just saw those new Giant unis today for the first time and they are hideous!! They look like a rugby team now. Whomever designed those unis need to stop drinking and seek help as their vision is starting to go.
It was the jersey they wore during their 1933 season (during which they played in the first NFL championship game, against the Bears); the pants and socks were ones they wore in their first season in 1925. Ugly, yes, but not the invention of some marketing person. https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl...hrowback-century-red/b91b54a6164bf3819092cb50
I dont see the big deal about the Jerseys. Sure they are ugly but we have seen worse, like the Steelers vintage jersey. Im sure in 100 years (If NFL is still around) the Jerseys will look a lot different and the current ones will be considered ugly.
My Jets fan mentality after 1 game....."Oh great, everyone won in our division and we have to go to SF., we're in last place ....UGH"
The NFL OT is such a disgrace. Why not allow the other team a chance and if they score a TD faster than they win? It would put pressure on the first team to not just score a TD, but score with speed. Anything is better than giving one team a possession and the other team nothing. Id rather them have no OT and just have the game end in a tie over this nonsense.
Yep, and once again, I take an early exit from my knockout pool. 40% of the 600+ entries were for the Bengals.
