I have a question about watching individual games. If a game is not on national TV or any of the services I pay for, is there a way to watch an individual game legally? For example, a regular Sunday game at 1PM that is not nationally televised (I live in Florida). Is there a way for me to pay to watch just that game? Or are there any services that allow you to watch all Jet games for the season that are reasonably priced? Tks.
I am not aware of a US-based service that is reasonably priced and legal, otherwise I'm sure a lot of us would be doing it. The NFL is in the business of hamstringing the consumer and that will only get exponentially worse. Legal sports betting gives them a captive audience and financial flexibility to accept the other losses.
No one can say for sure there is not this kind of option--but I've been streaming for years and I've never come across it. Furthermore, within the minutes of the recent NFL Sunday ticket law suit, there is reference made to the NFL actually declining ESPN permission to do this for a reduced price relative to Sunday ticket. This is one of the foundation pieces of evidence that led to the anti-trust verdict against the NFL. Since they are awarded a legal monopoly, they cannot participate is such kinds of schemes, so the jury found. Now that Youtube owns Sunday ticket and with the present verdict, it may become available to select games to stream. I find it interesting that I have yet to see anyone mention the ramifications on Youtube of this lawsuit. They are also overcharging and in addition, I hear that you can buy the sunday ticket alone but the prominent way to get NFL games is to enroll in Youtube TV which is like $80/month plus you pay $300+ for Sunday ticket--so over a 12 month span its like $1200 to get the games and that's total BS obviously.
