Football Fanatics on X: "According to our sources it looks like Steelers will be giving a 2nd round pick and a 5th for Aiyuk. Aiyuk will also be signing a 4 year deal of close to $115 million with 85$ million guaranteed. https://t.co/sCLPZvS7af" / X
If anything, the Jets week 1 opponent have had a less than ideal training camp. I was hoping this stalemate would have lasted a bit longer........ Trent Williams holding out probably a bigger deal.
Wow, nice scoop from Footb@ll Fanaticz. Can't believe they got this before all the insiders. They must be really plugged in.
I don’t see this anywhere… The rumored asking price is 2 firsts so this seems wrong. This also isn’t really a Steelers-like move.
I feel like Aiyuk is super overrated. He doesn’t seem like a top WR to me, yet is being treated like one.
Apparently the Patriots are out on Aiyuk. That leaves Browns & Steelers. I actually think that the most likely scenario is that he stays with the 49ers and caves like Deebo did, even though I selfishly want him traded for Jets reasons.
Indeed. The big question is, can he function as a go to #1 without Deebo & Mccaffrey taking the most attention from the defense?
Looks like the trade will happen. Ian Rapoport on X: "Update on Brandon Aiyuk: -- The Steelers and #49ers have a deal on a potential trade and PIT is in a good place on an Aiyuk contract, sources say. If SF gives the final sign-off, it's done. -- SF has an offer out to Aiyuk on a long-term deal for him to stay. He hasn't accepted. https://t.co/ZepVTfv4Nj" / X
Rumor has it he's staying with 49ers after all this. Saw something by Schefter, too. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nf...randon-aiyuk-will-stay-with-49ers/ar-AA1oYj8h
He is staying with the niners. 4 years, 120 milion, 76 million guaranteed. This makes him the 6th WR to average 30 million a year. It also means he'll be playing opening day.
