I really liked Moore too, I wish we'd kept him longer than we did.

I hadn't heard about Darnold's taste for recreational drugs.

Somehow, I had totally forgotten about Tony Martin.

Agreed that Favre wasn't going to be a 1st round pick, but I wonder if the Jets could have traded down from that 1st round pick and then taken Favre before Atlanta. I also wonder when Atlanta gave up on him, why the Jets didn't trade for him, instead of letting GB get him?

Ron Wolf said he would've drafted Favre with a 1st rd pick if they had it.... then traded for him when he went to Green Bay (Jerry Glanville was kind of a dumbass).

Years later in true JETS fashion they trade for the zerofuks dickpic version....

It really was strange situation. Giving up on a player conversion during his first training camp. He was a decent kick returner too, so he could have contributed.

Idk are we sure the Darnold thing is true. I remember when Boomer went on WFAN and said that he was impressed that Darnold went out drinking with his teammates. Boomer was kinda implying that Darnold wasn’t a partier, which would betray him being a drug guy.

Anyone ever seen Darnold out and about, and looking out of it?

On an aside, I live in Philly now, and a few weeks ago I ran into our old friends Becton and Uzomah a few weeks ago.

it could be false for sure. that guy on twitter is all over the place.

It wouldn't surprise me though given the above, multiple of Mccagnan 's guys had troubles with drugs and also Darnold seemed to me like a surfer dude type... I could see him loving the nightlife. who knows

I could totally see Darnold being a pothead, but I doubt that is what they are referring to.

    Def true.

re Favre btw, and I think Joe benjngo ks a moron, with that said-Joe B was right on when he said nobody threw more big time dumb stupid interceptions than him. Most overrated qb ever..

joe b also said “nobody found the open linebacker better, than Richard Todd.” RT was before my time so curious as to if older jets fans agree

Richard Todd was an INT machine, unfortunately.
