I just don't really understand the point of going for old timers or known sick people who could kick at any minute? I had a bunch of other people in mind but I'll keep my list to that (unless I can make another list the 1st of the year). Picking people in the 80s and 90s gets few points but has a higher percentage overall. Someone could sneak a win in a lean year with a couple of old timers. There aren't any lean years with the tidal wave of Boomers going lately. The 70s is as old as I usually go but people in their 40s-60s usually will win a "season". They are home run shots, Waterboy got one this year. I don't usually pick anyone younger than 40.

I try and keep it balanced, a few younger ones with health issues, a few older ones for some easier points. 1st of the year what we do now is start everyone with their current roster from previous season and allow you to swap out your picks. We use a snake draft but you don't need to change any picks you are happy with, can change 1, 2, all or none, just in draft order.
