@TalkJetsRadio: Smith and Moses 15 minutes after practice still coaching up the OL (Video) Hughes: Saleh, when talking moments ago about Tyron Smith on-field ability, unsolicited highlighted how he’s a tremendous teammate. Example here
Rosenblatt: Robert Saleh thinks Alijah Vera-Tucker and Morgan Mosses should be back to full participation next week. #Jets Hughes: Robert Saleh says Alijah Vera-Tucker & Morgan Moses are trending towards returning to practice next week #Jets
Hughes: Robert Saleh says Jordan Travis is going to need a little more time. That’s why the #Jets added another quarterback. As for Haason Reddick landing on the did-not-report list: He has no update
probably helps that this year’s left tackle is actually in shape and not off to the side barfing, I’m sure. Great is a big adjective though
One football writer said he thinks Reddick's price went up when the Jets lost JFM. That means the number of snaps Reddick would need to play would increase. Thus, he's looking for more money.
Wow it only took 4 seasons for him to pull players for shitty performance in practice? Something that is a normal every day thing for lots of successful coaches. LOL
Real coach of the year material right there. It's only taken our NFL "head coach" four years to figure out something that middle school football coaches understand after the first week or so on the job.
I was there today, saw Jordan Travis throw some nice bombs on the far field, away from everyone else.
Too early for sure but encouraging. Outside from the obvious improvements to the OL, RBs, and AR under center, I think what is going slightly unnoticed is the performance of a few gems on defense from this tear new comers, be it on the DL or the secondary. I like it.
Wait, what? . So the contract is impacted based on expected number of snaps he will play? Silly me, I thought players are expected to play as many snaps as it takes to win. In fact, the bigger the incentive based on the number of sacks the more he benefits from extra snaps. I think there is a lot of smoke going on. Plus let’s not just ignore McDonald contribution this year.
With Williams on the PUP, I'm glad to hear about Lazard so far in TC. The Jets need him. Hopefully, he can keep it up and rebuild whatever confidence he lost last season.
How does one go unblocked like that? McKinley looks like he was shot out of a cannon. I didn't realize that he was so fast!
Reddick knows the deal (or should) that the Jets were pretty tight against the cap and in order to add him, they were going to have to let JFM go, so I don't think that was a big change in his expectations.
they say that the defensive line has the advantage during padless practices so i guess the oline holding their own bodes well
