The site just updated. Week 2 of the preseason schedule has the Jets playing Monday night Aug 19th but it's a road game in Carolina. So far two Monday night games to start the preseason.
It's not. The site just updated, and the Giants at Jets game is Monday night 8/26/24. All preseason games are on Monday night. That sucks.
I know EVERYTHING is more expensive these days..... but I'm having a bit of a mental block with tickets being TRIPLE what they cost the last time the JETS were here in 2019...
I can't imagine the Jets are playing on 3 consecutive MNFs. That would be pretty outrageous to do. I wonder if it's just a place holder date since they haven't been scheduled yet.
Here is the full preseason schedule. First, they show the national televised games. Scroll all the way down and they show week 1,2,3 all with times and dates. Jets are scheduled for all Monday games in preseason The Gridiron Uniform Database (gridiron-uniforms.com)
Yes I saw that. How does gridiron-uniforms have it updated before the actual Jets website or ESPN or NFL.com who did the entire NFL release? Makes little sense.
I hope you are right, and it changes but I think this site is run by the league itself. I work in Ramsey and trying to get to MetLife for a Monday night game or Thursday night game can be a pain in the ass driving on 17 during rush hour.
I do not miss that at all. I grew up in Montvale and know all to well about that. 17 is a parking lot once get you the Plaza
I agree and im sure tickets there are alot more than I just paid to see them vs AZ. I paid $186 a ticket after $48 a ticket in fees for lower level row 30 in the corner.
For the home regular season primetime games, I took off work. Get to the stadium early to avoid the traffic. By the time its rush hour I will already be tailgating. For preseason games it's not worth taking the day off IMHO.
Chiefs are playing on 6 different days this year (sans Tuesday) and on 6 different networks. NFL definitely pimping them out again. Get excited, cause I forsee many more Mahomes/Kelce/Reid commercials coming this fall
The NFL schedule actually saved me $. I only get Sunday Ticket to watch the Jets (in the DC area) but with 7 of the 1st 11 games on "national" broadcasts I can skip it and reevaluate after the bye.
