When you get one of the best FBS RB's and the best FCS RB late I'll take it even it made the say wtf at first with the 2nd RB pick. I'm guessing Bawden is gone and one of these two can fill that roll as well as being a RB.
None of the offensive guys got a fair evaluation last year due to the horrendous QB/OL situation--that's another cost of not having a capable backup (thx JD)--you just don't know what you have and your picking blind the next year.
Agree completely. We have significantly upgraded the position for the long stretch. I would love to see a formation with both of those maulers behind center on goal line formations.
He could wind up being more. He's raw, never played college ball, but is fast and a ball hawk. Played one year of CFL football and became a star. I think he may have even gotten player of the year in the CFL.

Either that or they plan on ditching the FB slot and using H-back alignments for the inline blocking. Izzy didn't really do jack shit last year though from what I remember.
