correct. I have absolutely no idea how you justify this unless you were stockpiling picks for a trade but even so, sixth rounders are glorified toilet paper.
I don't think anybody is obsessed with him. But i mean if you want a Qb, think he's the best QB on the board, and we are right there.... Not a fan of this trade down cuteness at all.
Sam Hartman might be interesting with one of those later picks. Not very mobile or anything but he’s thrown a billion collegiate passes.
they had Jordan Travis in and apparently loved him so I can see them trying to package the two sixes to get up into the fifth round to take him
Dropping back 15 spots for a 6th round pick makes no sense unless they're trying to package something. We're already approaching the dregs of the draft.
Eh that wouldn’t make much sense to me. I don’t think he’s much of a NFL player. He also has the body of a 7th grader.
Probably feel confident none of these guys are going QB and they feel good about more than just Pratt I'm assuming incase a team comes up.
I just don’t get the feeling the Jets are taking a QB in the 4th. I doubt they want to keep 3 on the roster and I’d think they’ll just try to figure it out next year or when Rodgers is gone.
According to the NCAA he was the most important and valuable player in all of college football last year. Just saying
What’s most important? You mean the reason they didn’t get into the final four is because he got hurt? The football always looked huge in his hand compared to his size. I know his combine measurable and blah blah. But the dude is slender with a very small frame.
Miami has a big ass safety that was pretty good at the U that I figured they’re gonna do that with lol.
I have no dog in the fight but I think they made the right decision. Even with all those guys that sat out against Georgia I think whoever they played would’ve had a non-competitive game against them with Rodemaker or the other guy.
I wouldn’t glorify GB too much. We don’t know what he has on his list. They still have three picks in the fourth and they probably see many of their candidates sliding down on their board. He then might pack the 2 6th for a fifth, and please don’t tell Brady that a 6th round pick is glorified toilet paper.
not surprised at all by this trade after i heard how adamant the Jets were in trade discussions about holding onto the Mr. Irrelevant pick. ugh
