I have no problem with a proven 2024 season first for the concern about him staying healthy, although two separate and independent injuries that do happen, and moving his ass around in three different positions didn’t help any. But for 2024 they should be more than” all in for AVT “ to anchor the G position for a long time to come. Is not like we excel in populating the OL position with youth.
Araiza, going off my memory, did say he had sex with her (much earlier in the evening than the alleged rape). The rape part is a totally false accusation. But to an NFL team, he did have sex with an underage girl. I think that's where he got screwed career-wise. Even tho she lied like hell at the party (about her age) and afterward. These are just my recollections of what I read about the case.
Uhm…didn’t AVT get hurt both times playing at tackle instead of guard, though? Dude’s our best OL…if these injuries aren’t something he can’t bounce back from, I don’t get the hesitation. Dudes a stud. Exercise the option, and then just leave him at guard, where he can be a pro-bowl guard.
The IF you just referenced is the precise hesitation. Which is why you don't guarantee him 15 mil now before we get the answer if he can bounce back or not. Like I said, the guy from his class who was not injured and made 2 Pro Bowls just extended this offseason for 16.6 mil per year. It's not smart business to guarantee nearly as much now. I think JD does not pick up the option.
Its a poster hearing from a poster hearing from a friend hearing from scouts some things can get lost in translation. Maybe the original scout was talking about his neighbors and not Malik Nabers
This kind of reporting Is lazy and stupid. Give me facts, not anonymous bullshit that conveniently comes to light right before the draft. I'm not buying It.
Then it was definitely a slap. Aside from Steve Smith, I don't know there there has been a WR that cared to throw an actual punch in the last 2 decades.
