Too early I know but let's have some fun. I will start. Here is how I think each AFC East Team will rank end of 2024 season. What are your record predictions? Dolphins 11-6 Jets 9-8 Bills 8-9 Patriots 5-12
Bill's window closed when they passed on Breece Hall. Breece was the missing player to push them over the hump. And now they've lost Game Davis too. They're done. Miami actually lost a bunch of good players and will regress. Jets added a bunch of good players and will advance. Jets Bills/Miami (flip a coin) Patsies
Since it's too early so it's even more meaningless... Patriots. 1-16 Bills 6-11 Dolphins 8-9 Jets 17-0 The '72 Dolphins will have to put the bottle back in the cupboard this year.
- Bills will sign a depth guy at WR like Boyd and still end up winning this division as the best all around team with the by far best QB in Josh Allen (who just ends up spreading the ball around a lot more). - Miami takes a small step backwards, but ultimately offsets that by sweeping the series with us (McDaniels owns us atm/imo) and the Pats. - Another year and another frustratingly bad offensive showing by the Jets. With Hackett and his offense actually playing out to be a notably declined and aging out of the league Aaron Rodgers' worst enemy. - New England ends up being the worst team in football, and adds another strong example argument that terrible teams drafting young QBs into abysmal situations is almost begging for epic failures. Buffalo - 11-6 Miami - 9-7 Jets - 7-10 NE - 3-14
Dumb but it's so slow so we can do this before the draft sure... Dolphins 10-7 Jets 9-8 Bills 9-8 Pats fold Sent from my genius mind.
Jets 10 - 7 Miami 9 - 8 Bills 8 - 9 Pats 5 - 12 Jets will win the division and all will be sunshine and whisky. This I know because I will be selling my tickets to every game until Tuna Season is over. Fuck me Im a Jet Fan.
Too early for me, I need to see the draft, summer free agents, roster cuts, and injuries in the preseason. As it stands now, I think the bills, jets and dolphins are really difficult to predict (clearly the pats will be 4th). Allen should still be king here, but I first need to see if they add weapons at receiver and where they add depth in the draft. The bills are thin at some spots right now, so if injuries hit in the right places, they could be in trouble. If not, they should be ok. I also can’t predict the jets. 41 year old qb who hasn’t played in 2 years coming off a major injury behind a banged up o-line. This could either end up really bad for the jets, or it could totally be ok, or anything in between. I’m not going to be able to predict the jets this year, we’ll just have to wait and see. I like the roster moves the dolphins made, but they still have some work to do like the bills. We’ll see how both look come September.
Yeah, the surface level takes on Buffalo in the media this morning are actually a pretty telling reminder that few if any of these analysts are actually watching these games. The Bills 2023 offense actually got better after firing their OC and then proceeding to phase out Diggs' "#1 WR Numbers!" (who didn't clear 100 yards again after week 6, and only cleared 75 twice). Shakir's name popped up a lot more in big moments then Gabe Davis did as the season wore on. He'll be an upside flyer guy I'll be trying to grab in the latter rounds of all my fantasy drafts.
For fantasy purposes Kincaid as well. Bills fans are delusional thinking they are trading into the top 10 for Odunze.
They don’t watch the games, and it’s furious. The narratives are just ridiculous, and then they all parrot each other because none of them individually know. If you want a fantasy guy, grab Kincaid. He’s going to be a target monster imo. Shakir played really, really well at the end last year and I’m excited about what he can do. For fantasy purposes though, I’m not sure the volume would be there.
Kincaid was my guy coming in to the year prior to this trade. Now he's gonna be everybody's and as such end up costing the same type of premium reach it takes if you want to take Josh as your QB lol
They have the ammo to do it, so it’s not delusional, but I don’t see Beane going all in like that nor do I see one of those teams wanting to move back that far. It’s a really deep receiver class, so I would probably stay put (other than moving up a few slots so you don’t get jumped over). I guess if one of the big 3 falls out of the top 10 then maybe.
True, I had Kincaid everywhere last year, LaPorta too. My big league I have LaPorta as a 10th round keeper this year as well as Hall in the late second. Would be happier if my brother in law didn't have Kyren and Puka in the 10th and 11th...
Here we are again, me included, full of happy thoughts until the point that it doesn't work out. Who knows as far as predictions are concerned. The division is a crap shoot except The Patriots can realistically predicted to be last. I will invest my dollars in NFL game pass and will watch every snap hoping there is something positive to get behind for as long as possible into the season. I won't get over The Atlantic for a game this season unfortunately, but remain optimistic for better than we've had recently. That's the best I can do.
Way too early. FWIW, I'll say this: all three teams - Pats, Bills, Dolphins - at least have track records of success, so I wouldn't count any of them out, even the Pats. Until they prove otherwise, the Jets are still the SOJs.
Bills over Jets prediction: BILLS 17-0!!! Pats 0-17 Dolphins 0-17 Jets 0-18 Sent from my genius mind.
