I hated when they gave the 2022 World Cup to Qatar but that tournament generated lots of great games because it was middle of the season. Quality of the games were pretty high. So I am not as opposed to Winter time World Cup but I wish it wasn't Saudi Arabia.

I'm totally opposed to a Winter World Cup. It disrupts leagues around the world and in the case of Qatar they bid to host a World Cup in the Summer but then moved it to the Winter. Money talks and all us fans can do is not watch it - I didn't watch a single match at the Qatar World Cup and I don't regret all the time I saved.
Yep. I understand you. I rather have World Cup summer months in Northern hemisphere. I am a traditionalist myself. But Qatar tournament produced some great games. The final was the best final I watched in ages. Also hate Saudi regime so I won't be happy if they get it. We shall see.

I am rooting for Turkey actually. It is my country. I hate the fascist Turks but still the team represents my country. Also today there are 5 Galatasaray players starting for Turkish team. More reason for me to root for them. But sadly Portugal will win imo.

Portugal is the better team for sure. If we tie Czech Republic next game we will advance and play against France.
Wouldn’t be shocked if you beat Czechia, they drew Georgia while you beat Georgia 3-1 (that game was so fun to watch)
