Whatever happened with Moses before we don't know for certain. But we do know we acquired a very good, durable RT for a 6th round pick and moving back a bit in the 4th. That's a great move and honestly way better than I could have expected us to do at RT. Really nice surprise. Well done
I killed this team for letting Moses and Fant walk. Now we're expending capital to bring one back. You can't make this shit up. As much as I'm glad Moses will be back at RT, the roster management by this FO is atrocious.
Moses is better than what we got but he was banged up last year and just turned 33. Trading for a one season band aid is a little troubling going into a draft. JD may be looking to deal our future to move up.
Moses graded through PFF as the 11th best RT in the NFL last year. I like this way more than over paying for Tyronn Smith.
Nothing quite sums up JD's tenure at GM like trading for the RT you let go in FA, after instead signing a revolving door of has-beens and never-will-be's to man the position about as poorly as any NFL team over the past 2 years.
That old saying... it takes two to tango. Im sure Morgan Moses didn't want to be back here considering the dumpster fire we were knowing full well he could start for a contender. And he did.
He wanted to play for a winner but the winner didn't want him anymore. Its the same thing that happened to Flacco. They try to get away, but their just a 6th round pick from returning to the circus.
There were no reports at that time that he made his decision based on that, it's purely fan justification. There were also no reports that the Jets even made him an offer. They did the same thing with Moses that they did with Huff; moved on because they believed they had his replacement in house. Joe Douglas' asset management sucks.
I wanna like it, but is anyone else concerned that the ravens didn’t want either Moses or Simpson and we have both? Harbaugh I think had a quote about “the offensive line is our number one priority this offseason..” Is there a chance Moses is shot?
I dont love it. Look he played here two years ago and should've been retained then. Now his game is in decline
Another reason I like this move is I don't trust their schmuck of an OL coach to develop anyone. It's comforting to see an established veteran come in and solidify the position from day one
Is Moses still solid? Did he start for the Ravens last season? How old is he? I'm not gonna applaud this move until I know more. There are quite a few RTs available in FA. Why give up a draft pick and lose 20 or so spots in the 4th round?
He was alright last year, but had a bad elbow and shoulder. The Ravens announced they wanted a younger, faster, o-line. That's why they cut Moses and Simpson loose.
