We have been in dire need of a power back, that would take care of things handily.

 

Sign me up if that happens. We also have Izzy to rest Breece during games.

 

That would be an epic backfield. But I think Henry will be looking for a place where he's more of a lead back than a 1b.
I can see AJ Dillon as a target though for many reasons.
Hopefully the influx of high quality RBs in free agency dilutes the market significantly

 

Bring back Johnny Johnson or Brad Baxter!

 

I referred to last year’s offense as 3 yards and a cloud of dust with good punting. This move could really help Hackett. He doesn’t appear to know anything about deception, motion, looking for mid-matches or even slant passes. With those 2 in the backfield, he would not have to overwork his brain and think passing. The ball would be handed off every down. He may have some trouble determining which back to hand it to or what side they should run but he would have a 50/50 shot. If we can move this offense to around 3-1/2 yards and a cloud of dust, we will be on our way.

That and he's always injured.

 

And he's a 29yo RB.

This is gonna be a total waste of of budget that could and should of been spent elsewhere when he makes The List v2.

Hackett's brain was functioning with an old tired hamster turning the wheel last year. Let's hope he can upgrade to maybe a hungry squirrel this year.
