I don't get Baltimore. I know it's Mahomes, Kelce, Reid and co. Must be a insanely difficult task. But what's the point of #1 defense, most sacks in the league, #1 scoring defense yada yada yada And you get them in your house for the AFC Championship game can't even slow them down so far? Kelce is killing them. What were they doing all week long? Mahomes completeed like his first 8 or 9 passes before finally throwing a incompletion. A team with the #32 ranked defense could have done the same.
Lamar held onto the ball too long. Come on Ravens. Slow down the Chiefs here. Another Chiefs TD and game is over.
Chiefs are going to repeat. They look like the most dominant team left. Give them a lead and this games over imo.
Rooting hard for Ravens, but I haven’t really believed in them since they folded in a game they had full control of against the Browns. I think it may be midnight and Lamar might be turning into a pumpkin. I was happy for Reid when the Chiefs first won but this is starting to get New England level of ridiculous the run KC is on.
Chiefs (lived in KS and have lots of KS friends) /Lions(a fan since Barry Sanders and Mark Stafford) SB with Lions taking it all. I hope KC gets there with no mystery flags/clean game. Lions take it all because they've never been there before and tired of SF being there.
Nantz & Romo still haven't explained what these defenses are doing to Baltimore's WRs why they're struggling to get open. Forcing jackson to hold on to the ball so long. Houston did it last week. KC is doing it this week. Perhaps they don't know? I think it was Aikman & Buck last week? No one knows?
Fun Fact In the last 15 years, one of these 3 QBs has been in every single AFC Championship Game. Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes and Mark Sanchez
Lamar Jackson threw himself a pass. In the same play, he recorded passing yards and receiving yards. Wowzer
Agreed. Theres almost no such thing as a first half dagger and coaches get caught up in trying to find it too much.
Not sure I've heard any actual cracks but the ice is starting to get a little bit thin under the Ravens here.
The game looks so much more difficult for Baltimore right now. KC's defense is playing a game. KC's offense is playing lights out should have kicked the FG before. KC is dominating so far.
Some coaches rely too much on some analytic nerd telling them to go for it rather than using their football sense.
Yep, they get caught up just in the percentage of making it, without considering what are the negative consequences of when you do not.
