It actually was a quote from one of the best independent filns ever made: Buffalo '66. The main character takes the fall for someone else and goes to jail because he bet on the Bills, Scott Norwood missed, and he couldn't pay his bookie. The name was changed to Scott Wood for legal purposes for the movie. "I'm gonna kill Scott Wood" is the common thread through the film. I thought somebody, anybody, would get the reference. Sigh. Christina Ricci rules. She steals the movie.
Sal Licata brought that up. In retrospect it probably would have been better if they had gone for it on 4th and 9 because im sure Mahomes would have gone down and scored anyway, and if not, they would have managed the clock to ensure overtime. So the odds were stacked against the Bills anyway. The only way the Bills win is if they go for it on 4th and get a first down.
Thats actually a possibility. Bill hasn't signed with Atlanta and im sure the reason would be, is because is he wants to see if any other options open up. (Maybe the Bills or maybe the 49ers if they choke next week). I still think its unlikely, I would think Kraft and him came to a gentlemans agreement that he stay out of the division and preferably the conference if he were to release him, which he did. Krafts not dumb either so im sure this was discussed.
Nope. But they also aren’t losing McDermott. Division won’t be as easy to take, and Allen can he just as bad as he is good.
the bills didn’t stop Mahomes all day haha you are funny he only needed 13 seconds last time to get it in FG range. Of course he woulda done it with 1:40
That wasn’t last time, that was 4 times ago and 3 years ago. The last time, which was this season, Mahomes missed on a 4th down ending the game. The time before that, Taron Johnson intercepted the ball ending the game.
Until one of the other teams gets as good of a QB as Allen, Bills will be king. Josh Allen just had the worst season of his career and they still won the division. Also, Belichick is finally gone.
If you can get an upgrade like someone Harbaugh-caliber, then sure. Change for the sake of change? No. It's more likely that McDermott figures it out/gets lucky than some random coordinator does.
When a team has a +3 yard per play advantage over the other team it normally equates to a 20 point ass kicking. The bills were lucky to even be in that game last night
Did you even watch the game? Mahomes had an easy day and was basically doing whatever he wanted. It wasn’t going to overtime
Allen is such a choke artist it's wild. He cannot escape that big TO. He's super fortunate that the fumble was recovered and then that McDuffie dropped the INT on the previous play. The guy is just dying to always give the game away. Amazing talent.
