Vrabel would be a cool Jets coach cause he would stick to the NE

I would take either Carroll or Vrabel no questions asked…

I don't think this is a great record. If he had kept Reid, I suspect they'd have a couple more Super Bowls than they have--they certainly wouldn't have lost to Andy Reid last year. If he had kept Pederson, I suspect they would have won last year, and maybe this year, too. No way to prove those opinions, of course, but I felt that way at the time(s), and still think that way.

I think he's cutting coaches that did work. I think that's pretty bad---not Woody bad, but quite bad.

I would tend to think hiring a coach might be something they would discuss. Did England get telephones yet?

Until the fans figure out a way to fire owners, we're screwed.

That's all hypothetical though, isn't it? Reid was with the Eagles for 13 seasons and many times personal and professional relationships run their course and people are tired of the same faces with the same words.

The fact that they were able to bounce back with extreme effectiveness after each new hire is a testament to their hiring practices.

Sure it's hypothetical. Reid and Pederson don't seem to lost their ability to coach NFL teams to a high performance level. It's true that in some situations personal and professional relationships run their course -- but I would say that is an indictment of the Eagles' ownership as well, since they are the constant in all those relationships. Plenty of personal and professional relationships can produce at the highest levels for several decades--even in the NFL.

I recommend watching Welcome to Wrexham.
Lurie talks about his decision making.

The guy seems great, pragmatic, and passionate, exactly what you want.

Even if he wasn’t those things and was merely sober he would be better than Woody

Woody sucks, I hope J&J stock plummets so he has to sell at least a portion of the team.
I hope Woody loses lots of money. Lets try to get those reddit stock guys to fuck him up.
    For the Jets.

Vrabel is fools gold imho.... a different sorta Rex Ryan figure.

was able to optimize Tannehill for a couple years and get extraordinary clutch play from both his Rb , D and his Qb/WR combos....

then... Tanny got hurt and it went to shit , lost AJ Brown and the O has been shite since

I dunno... Tepper, down in Carolina, is doing his BEST to unseat Wood-rough as the worst owner in the league.

Snyder was the worst owner. Everybody else is playing for second place.

*Not counting the old-time nutcase owners like George Preston Marshall, and surely others.
