Here’s the roster. Lots of edge rushers to choose from! I’m shocked Latu is going. He’s pretty much a shoe in first rounder.
Surprised Jermaine Burton WR Alabama isn't going. I think he's a serious candidate for our 3/4 round pick depending obviously on what we do in the first. I like his speed a lot. Great hands. He had that incident after the Tennessee game where he swiped a female fan in the head who stormed the field. Possible red flag probably drops him to the 4th. Before anyone goes all crazy, he didn't "punch" a girl. Ran up to his face with her camera and swiped her. Not excusing his actions, but this isn't Tyreke Hill.
There’s a lot of star power on that list as compared to previous years. That means it’s going to be harder to track down a potential hidden gem if they’re hiding in there. I feel like there’s always a good runningback or two as well as a road grading guard that come out of it that we’ll miss. 2021 yielded Rhamondre Stevenson (4th round, 120th) and Khalil Herbert (6th round, 217th), we got Michael Carter (4th round, 107th). OG Trey Smith (6th round, 226th) and OT Alaric Jackson (UDFA) were there. We got Hamsah Nasrildeen (6th round, 186th) and Jamien Sherwood (5th round, 146th). Go figure.
