I get wanting to hype and get eyes on your own program, but the length they’ve gone to in doing that is nauseating. In the Steelers game, I had to literally turn it off towards the end because they would not stop trying to make arguments why the game was close (to keep viewers) even though the Steelers were down by 2 touchdowns and could do nothing on offense. They’ll say literally anything these days, it’s horrible.
I have no issue staying up until midnight, but people pretty much knew that game was over at 10:30-11. I really enjoyed watching the Eagles and Cowboys get blown out. I love it when games go the opposite as expected. To me that's great football. If it were all the front runners blowing out the Wild Card teams, I'd agree that it's boring. The phins getting bitch slapped after choking away the division in the last week was also great.
George Pickens "Its hard to beat the Bills and the refs" I was wondering WTF the Steelers were doing by not tackling Josh Allen when he ran it 50 some yards for a touchdown. But then late in the game with the game on the line they did (barely) hit him and it was a game clinching penalty -- This Bills - Chiefs game will be a flag fest with both QBs whining for flags all afternoon
Imagine if Ray Lewis was still in the league. Allen tries any of that fake slide garbage, and the next time he runs down the field, Lewis knocks him into the shadow realm.
They need to make the fake slide a penalty or just eliminate it altogether. Better yet, if a QB pulls a fake slide, any personal fouls on hits on the QB should be allowable for the remainder of the game after the fake slide.
in the NBA/NHL they have flopping penalties. The fake slide should get the same treatment in the NFL. It’s a dirty play
Another thing they should make reviewable as well is the slide and a defender barely falls on top of the quarterback when it’s played back and it’s a 15 yard flag.
