They beat the Colts in the wild card round in December 2000. Dave Wannstedt was coach, and Jay Fiedler was QB. It was the only playoff game they've won since Marino retired.
Chiefs-Bills likely next week. Ravens BETTER win because I don't want to see Bills or Chiefs hosting a championship game.
I didn't know that; and if I did, I would've said it, anyway. If he isn't in acute alcohol withdrawal, which is deadly and where the empathy should belong, when does the victimhood over making willful and habitual poor choices in the past end after that, never? Right, never. The guy is still in recovery, when did he stop drinking, three days ago? I applaud people who get well and stay that way. They don't feel the need to announce it or parade it around like a war story pinned to their lapel. What I don't applaud is an entirely different brand that keeps it front and center as if it defines them somehow. You're expected to pin a medal on their chests for the rest of their lives as if they cured cancer when what they really did was stop doing awful things they never should've been doing in the first place, consequences of which can sometimes never be fixed nor forgiven yet society at large still point fingers at some disease instead of where the blame really belongs. I have a lot of dead bodies in my life with another one on the way, so please don't start posturing. I really don't have any patience and I'm not going to get any. GO JETS!
I want Dallas to win because it’ll irritate giants fans and I don’t want to give that idiot packers reporter Peter Bukakke any enjoyment. But man.. if Dallas loses in the first round again, that would be a hilarious meltdown tomorrow. Also hope the Rams win.
Windy but the sun is out in Buffalo this morning and it’s not snowing. they postponed the game for some wind so lame
Two general comments about Saturdays games. 1- Cleveland, after almost a miraculous from the couch to the playoff story by Flacco, he reverted back to the norm on a big way against Houston. Is almost like he went brain dead. His interceptions were unacceptable even by a rookie. General comment. Both teams have been building a quality team highlighted by great ranches on both sides of the ball. Oh what a well coached OL can do. 2- I though Miami got a bit out coached on that game, not to mention the refs love affair with KC. Mahomes is still the catalyst that propels everyone into success. Kelce is a shadow of his former self. I’m sick of watching the VIP box and all the bullshit with his girlfriend. Hope they get destroyed in the next round.
Cleveland’s game plan was also brain dead. Stefanski got caught up in the Flacco is a passing god hype and the pace that the Texans were trying to force them to play. Houston has a good run defense on paper but I would’ve tested it and tried to control the clock. They have the best guard-center-guard trio in the NFL and ran the ball 17 times (+3 Flacco scrambles) versus 46 pass attempts. Agreed on Miami/Kansas City. Tua also doesn’t really have a NFL arm in all honesty. He either isn’t capable of putting the ball on a rope 15-20 yards to the sideline or doesn’t for whatever reason but he floats the ball way too much. Reminds me a lot of Pennington post-shoulder injuries. Their offense was never in a rhythm and it looked like the whole team was stunned when the Chiefs scored on the opening drive. They played like they were down 3 scores after that first drive.
If we’re all going to be honest with each other, Taylor Swift’s Kelce 87 varsity jacket that looks like a jersey was fresh as fuck last night.
