Just gonna go ahead and throw this out there, I’ll most likely be at the Titans game, Nashville is only like 2 1/2 hours from me. Would love to do a TGG meet-up if anyone else is interested and will be there!
KY Start the thread in the summer. I also plan to go to Titans game and Steelers game. Maybe we can have other TGG members. We can do a good tailgate down there.
You got it sir! I’ll go ahead and put a calendar reminder on my phone for like June/July, otherwise I’ll definitely forget lol
Not seeing a lot of wins here at home OR on the road. Another double digit loss season is coming even with Kal EL behind center. We'll be drafting high again but God willing, it won't be the 3 Stooges making the picks. What's the odds of Kal EL playing 17 games?
Kal El is the given name of Superman on Krypton by his parents. The way some folks get dreamy eyed just drooling over Rodgers taking snaps and like magic, the Jets become SB contenders he would have to be Kal EL aka: Superman which we know he is not.
Yep. Looking at maybe 4 to 6 wins. AFC South seems to be on the rebound and the NFC West is a buzz saw and our third place nets us the Steelers, Vikings and Broncos. I know I will make my annual road game at Jacksonville since I have a place to stay and the from theCollege my daughter works for she can get a discount on tickets.
I've been to see this godforsaken team at 28 stadiums. Only ones I haven't been to are Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, KC and Atlanta - plus the new ones for the LA teams and the Raiders. So I'm going to make every effort to get to Pittsburgh and Jacksonville if anyone is going.
Pitt is a good time and I went to school there so my first Jet game was there. I will most likely make the trip
I was going to say that schedule looks tough but then I realised pretty much every team looks tough against this one - if it was the current team it looks like another 6 or 7 win season - with Rodgers if he actually plays well it could be a few more.
There's no way we can look at these teams and predict wins as of right now. There's at least 5 teams that have uncertainty at QB going into the offseason (Pats, Broncos, Titans, Steelers, Vikings) and the other teams, outside of San Fran, don't scare me that much with a healthy Rodgers. Let's see how the offseason goes.
Since it is the offseason I reserve the right to be hopeful. I think the Jets draft an immediate impact rookie WR to pair with GW, get a LT in free agency, and the Oline and ARod stay pretty healthy all year. 11-6 and a #5 seed for a "chip-on-the-shoulder" playoff run.
it is al just speculation - the same way people speculate about draft picks it is just a bit of fun. Those 5 teams were largely where I am expecting the wins to come. The thing with Rodgers is we have literally no idea how he is going to perform given we have seen nothing of him outside of practice.
Who knows how the offseason will play out for all teams. I just know that I won't buy into the hype again if the Jets have a good offseason. Show me starting in September by winning games.
the number of times I have heard that the Jets have "won the offseason" or had a great offseason only for the games to start and for them to collapse into mediocrity again
