Correct. Nobody will remember this victory, except Jets fans.

And that's fine by me :)

Ofcourse not, but I prefer not to hear about the Jets losing to the Patriots for 8 years, and I rather stop the streak with him as HC.

What do you think the Patriots having the 2nd or 3rd overall pick does for their chances of beating us in subsequent years?

That doesn't scare me at all now. The Patriots don't scare me at all now either.

The Patriots can draft a Franchise QB that is great or sucks-thats the NFL draft for you.

I want the team to win- my rooting interest have no impact on the game.

The problems in this organization run alot deeper than if we "tank" or not.

If Belichick is gone it doesn’t concern me a bit.

We don't maximize every advantage we can and wonder why we have the longest playoff drought in pro sports. Go figure.

I just don't get how anyone can celbrate this as a win over the Pats when the Pats were obviously (from the playcalling) playing to lose - it was a gimmee not a victory with both teams going for it and with something at stake

And their play calls were still better than Hackett's...

By the way, I know it's better than the Prime app, but the Youtube TV app is still a piece of shit.

What don't you like about it? I think finding things can be difficult at times, and there's really no tv guide to it, but it always worked well for me otherwise.

The cache goes corrupt all the time where I open the app the next day, try to watch something from my library and it is stuck playing a blacked-out version of the last thing I was watching until I kill the app and start it fresh. Yes user-friendliness of navigation is trash, the guides are really basic and have been that way from the start.

They have done very little to improve the user experience considering the enormous money they just raked in from the false NFL product this year.

Anyone who thinks the Pats were playing to lose don’t know what they’re talking about. Belichick was livid leaving the field.

Yeah I am so sick of the "Generational" slogan, seems like it comes out every draft for a different position. .

The draft is always a crap shoot. Let the chips fall where they fall.

These are oversimplifications. Higher draft picks work out more often than lower ones. We simultaneously gave our divisional opponent a higher one and ourselves a lower one. It was dumb. I'll take a better prospect for us and a worse one for the Patriots over a pyrrhic victory any day.

Trevor Lawrence might not be as good as hoped, but our future prospects would still look a hell of a lot different today with him instead of Wilson. Ditto for Broderick Jones instead of Will McDonald, which happened because we "only" dropped 2 spots in the draft.

Exactly. I don't get the argument that since draft is a crap shoot, dropping down may actually result in a better player, so going down 4 spots doesn't matter much. Yes, it it is not always the case, but the overwhelming likelihood is that higher picks yield in better players. Which is why teams give capital to move up in the draft, and receive capital when they move down, and not the other way around. Especially after we just got fucked moving down 2 spots last year.
