Maybe Rodgers really is an idiot, but you'd think he'd want to end his NFL career playing under a competent front office and coaching staff rather than this dysfunctional mess, even if this mess lets him call his own plays.
Yes but the main qb throughout his tenure has essentially been the equivalent of Skylar Thompson - what is he supposed to do with that?
He’s supposed to GET A BETTER QUARTERBACK. Not wheel out the worst quarterback in the NFL for three straight years. For god’s sake, it isn’t complicated. Three years!!
saleh is a good coach...he doenst coach the O hell have a good long carrer Joe D? garrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrbage
Agreed…but isn’t that JD’s final call? Obviously we aren’t privy to all of their internal conversations, so we don’t know how much of Zach being here as #2 was JD forcing it on Saleh or Saleh wanting it, or maybe a little of both. Hard to know. But in evaluating Saleh, it kind of feels like he didn’t have any real good options at QB. I do think a better offensive plan and a better OC would have yielded better results, but there are a lot of issues on O…shit OL, shit OC, shit QB. Hard to make much of that
this is not on the team though. you realize concussions are alerted to the team by independent spotters and they are cleared by independent doctors. the change was made so teams can't throw players back out there with concussions because they don't want to take them off the field. the NFL mishandled this one, not the team doctors. someone on the jets spotted something because they chose to pull him and take him to the locker room despite the independent doctor clearing him, to get him checked then labeled it a head injury and later a concussion. zachs mom said zach lied to doctors because he wanted to be out there for his teammates. concussions and dehydration share some similar symptoms.
Yeah and he's absolutely at least partially responsible for how bad the offense has been. He's the head coach, not the DC. Our offenses under Saleh have probably been our worst in the modern era, and that's saying something considering we haven't had a good offense in ages. You can't be historically incompetent on the most important side of the ball and be considered anywhere close to a good coach.
I actually took the time to read your block of text and run-on sentences. There are some incorrect statements but the biggest assumption, may or may not be true, I want to ask you about is this: Where on earth did you hear the independent doctors* cleared Zach Wilson? --- The NFL calls them unaffiliated neurotrauma consultants
what do you think an "unaffiliated neurotrauma consultant" is? unaffiliated = independent neurotrauma consultant = medical professional specializing in brain injuries aka doctor who's a specialist. even the NFL says here are the requirements for someone who seems to be able to type such perfect sentences while a pleb like me can't, why are you so dumb when it comes to basic shit? maybe your brain is so good at typing it sucks at everything else and I got the reverse. or maybe you are just dumb and I'm not but don't feel the need to prove it through grammar skills on a forum with a dozen people. so again in basic shit an independent doctor cleared zach and here you are blaming the wrong people as usual because you like to make shit up to have more reasons to hate on the jets. for a team thats been as bad as we are for as long as we have, there is plenty of real things to hate on. no need to make shit up. also FYI the last independent doctor that fucked up like this was the one that let tua play and he got fired. I'm pretty sure the NFLPA is the one who hires/fires them but i'd have to double check that as i'm only 80% sure on it, but it's not really relevant
No, that's not what I asked you. I know who you are referring to, I don't need more background on the independent doctors. (with snarky little bitch comments to boot) I clearly asked where you got the information that they cleared Zach Wilson.
If we're being literal, there's a lot more than 12 people. Clearly, you are speaking figuratively, but I dont understand why, if you look down on the 11 figurative other people in this forum, you are posting here in the first place?
during the game and that is the process. he was pulled by the spotter and checked on the sidelines and came back out to the field and the commentators said he was cleared. i mean i guess the commentators could have made it up but that would make no sense
I don't remember that, you talking about the play by play commentators or the sideline reporter? television broadcast or radio? I dont think they are really very privy to much information, especially when it comes to which doctors are evaluating
they announce it every game every time when a player is being checked for a concussion. I see it several times a week across the NFL. it's SOP. sometimes it's the commentators, sometimes it's the sideline reporters. they are privy due to the new regulations. a spotter in the booth calls down to the refs, refs remove the player from the field. you don't always see this part and can happen during commercial breaks
