A nationally shown game and it was so BAD they pulled the plug and switched to a more competitive game. There are some issues I have with the defense, but I contribute it to the lack of offense. You can't have your defensive guys on the filed 80% of the time and expect them to play 100%. Miami is starting either at mid field or in scoring range every time they get the ball. I blame the whole season on the GM and HC. Yes injuries happen and Rodgers getting hurt was bad, but we should have signed a competitive QB the next day, but they stuck with Wilson and added NO other QBs. I say fire the GM and HC and promote Defensive Coordinator Jeff Ulbrich to HC to keep the defense together.
This is an owner that could have had McCarthy, but opts for guys like gase and saleh. We’re doomed from the top down.
Maybe the Last Son of Krypton could put his body where his mouth is.. STFU and suit up. Play and give us a reason why things will be better when you're actually back. You fast tracked your rehab so, lets see what you got Kal EL.
He wants to be the Savior, now is his chance. Shut up and suit up. Trot his old ass on the field and show us why we should be hopeful when he actually does return IF he ever does.
I agree. I’m tired of Rodgers talking. Most injured players STFU and get better. If he’s gonna talk about coming back then do it next week
Simply shaking my head as I watch the 49’ers wrap up their beat down of the Cardinals with Sam Darnold doing mop up duty. The NY Jets are a joke and you can GURANTEE that they will suck for the foreseeable future. So, I guess it’s “look in the mirror time” for me. This year has been especially hard and don’t know if I WANT to put my energy behind an organization that is CLEARLY not doing the same. Tired of watching the same old shit being trotted out year in and year out.
You're only a year ahead of some, you're eight months behind many others including myself who said that this was Woody interfering and blowing everything up right from the start. Had his dirty grimy fingerprints all over it from the second the Jets flew out to California.
... except nothing is blown up. Trading for Rodgers didn't prevent us from signing anyone. And we didn't need to cut anyone to afford him. If we never traded for Rodgers, the team would be identical except Rodgers, Cobb, Boyle and (maybe) Lazard would never be on the team. It's likely Hackett would still have been hired, but maybe not. Our QB still would have been Wilson all season. He still would have sucked (all season). We would not have signed or traded for anyone additional of note. Our backup QB would have been a no-name that nobody on this message board would have been happy with (and sure as hell would not have been Mike White). The draft picks would have all been the same. Our offensive line would still be the worst in the league. Literally nothing would have changed. The one thing that might have made a difference is the offensive coordinator being different; and Newsflash: Even though Hackett sucks, Don Coryell wouldn't have scored any points with this team either. Rodgers cost us exactly one thing for the future - a second round draft pick (which, btw, Douglas never should have given up because he was negotiating against himself) that hasn't even been selected yet.
